Kuwait football team at the 1980 Olympics

Someone upload a video of highlights of the Kuwait and Nigeria match that took place at the 1980 Olympics in Moscow, USSR. Kuwait won that match 3-1 (they scored an embarrassing self goal) and during the tournament managed to make their way to the quarterfinals before being eliminated by the Soviet Union 2-1. [YouTube]

Forgotten, that’s what happened. It’s sad how Kuwait treated them as some sort of “Habba”

      Shame, really.

The interview was basically how is his life when he retired and how much low the amount of money they gave him when he retired.

He only was the person of the time, that’s it. Just because he retired, Kuwait forgot him. Just like phone mobiles, as soon as the new thing comes out, the old thing because nothing.

The interviewer just wanted to point out that there are many people that were high before and forgotten just because they retired. Basically, asking the government to see how they are, give them the respect they deserve, in-grave/remember what they did in someplace, take care of them.etc
