Back in May I posted about the new BBK logo but I didn’t know who had designed it. Well today John Avery commented on that old post and it turns out the logo was designed by his agency, Financial Design in the UK in collaboration with their associates in Bahrain, Vision. Mystery solved.

As usual, there is also a local story on this one…that BBK paid BIG bucks to Financial Design, but didn’t like/couldn’t make their minds up on what was delivered. To save face, they handed it over to Vision, a small Bahrain design shop, who had been in the original pitch, from where came the final design…but that’s just a rumour.
adlib it was more boring than that I’m afraid, FDP + Vision were a joint team from the start, we often work in partnership on such projects. sorry!
