That’s fantastic. The whole thing is great: the way the video is shot, the music, the interview. Look forward to following future episodes.

there is a tiny amount of kuwait bashing going on in this video. no..yes?

    • Qster says:

just a bit, but her saying that we’re a consumerist society is very true, Kuwaitis are pretty consumerist. (kuwaiti ba6n o thahar oo weld alFai7a fa la7ad yg3ad weygool gtfo).

    • Nael says:

      Why was it bashing?

I came to Kuwait for a short visit on Sept after almost 5 years of absence. I’ve noticed three main things:

1- People still drive like maniacs, probably worse.
2- teens and young adults with an upgrade in terms of the clothing that they wear, and manners, but not to the best unfortunately; and what’s up with the muscular physique all of a sudden?
3- More towers and skyscrapers, which is actually a good thing.

  3. X says:

oh i had a crush on him < LOL

  4. GWB says:

She looks like the lead singer from Rush. Same hair style.

  5. Maze says:

  6. Nael says:

This is pretty interesting. Art and especially drawing has always been my favorite activity since I was, I don’t know… 7 – 8 years old maybe?
I do remember some of drawings/coloring and how proud I was when I finished each one of them! I drew almost anything from cartoons, animals, human faces including myself! Nobody taught me, it was what I would truly call a gift. Now my parents would say good work and all that, but that’s about it; and unfortunately, I didn’t keep it up, after PCs became popular a couple of years later, I started giving up my interest in art, and I really do regret doing that till today….

My advice is, when you have a kid, observe them very carefully for any “natural” talent that they may have and continue to encourage them to develop those talents. If I ever notice that my kid starts developing the same interest that I had years ago, I would make sure he/she doesn’t lose the chance that I lost myself, and that was to become next van Gogh, Davinci or Picasso, no dream is too big…
