I found this via del.icio.us, its a thread at MacRumors.com discussing the iPod when it was first announced back in 2001. Its cracking me up reading the comments, my favorite one so far is “I still can’t believe this! All this hype for something so ridiculous! Who cares about an MP3 player? I want something new! I want them to think differently!

I’d call it the Cube 2.0 as it wont sell, and be killed off in a short time…and it’s not really functional.

Come on everyone, y’all are saying it sucks before you have even held it in your hand. I mean 5GB in a little tiny thing like that, it’s amazing. I don’t see anyone else making something like that. Do you?
