Axis of Evil in Kuwait
To be honest at first when my friends were talking about Axis of Evil I thought they were either a boy band or some DJ but then I remembered they were a comedy act which I had first heard about on CNN. Well Axis of Evil are coming to Kuwait tomorrow but don’t get your hopes up, tickets were already sold out from the first day. The comedy act is being handled by AUK so if you know someone there (not a student) they might be able to hook you up with tickets. Tickets were priced at KD20 each. Is anyone scalping tickets?

update: They are going to be at Dar Al Awadi tomorrow from 1:00pm to 3:00pm for MUNCH’s opening.
Dude they are absolutely hilarious, especially Ahmed Ahmed and Maz Jobrani. You should definitely check them out. Look up their videos on youtube.
Best of all, there’s little to no profanity and the content has nothing to do with vulgarity.
I found them boring. They sucked when I watched them in the US and they’ll suck here too. The only remotely funny guy is the one with a blue shirt and he’s not even Arab (Irani I think). I’m glad i wasn’t ripped off.
They are also having a meet and greet at Munch (Dar Al-Awadhi) on December 3rd at 1.00pm – 3.00pm. No tickets needed.
They seem eally lame and boring. Sandnigger humour doesn’t really work without profanity and slapstick.
Been trying to get tickets for days now… no way. Even the people i know in AUK cant get anymore. Each person is allowed to buy only 4 tickets and all the tickets were given priority to AUK students. only 700 were sold, 350 for each show! They didnt even advertise it cos tickets were sold out before they were even sold.

Well that’s usual…Comedy’s night from Lebanon was 25 KD and la Youmal Show was 33 KD!
I would pay KD 30/- for a comedy show featuring Holla.
I know a person whos willing to sell his ticket for 120KD, I also heard that some dude paid 150kd for a ticket he bought from a student.

Seriously mark, u have to attend them , i attented their show in sakkia in cairo last month and they were awesome, they even had better material than their DVD
WOW !! tickets in kuwait are much more expensive , the ones in cairo were sold for the equivalent of 1 KD !!!

Showtime has had Kuwait on their site for about a week and the Kuwait ads began running about 5 days ago on showtime.
I have tickets for lebanon’s show, 20$ each :) I got them, If I don’t use them I’ll pass you one if they sell out.

Axis of Evil are great, watched them around two months ago here in phoenix, AZ. They’re completely hilarious and I bet they’re going to do a good show in Kuwait. If you get the chance don’t miss out, but just an advice, don’t sit on the front row, it isn’t nice with these people ;p

just came back from the show amazing. I went now on you tube and noticed alot of what they usually say wasn’t said here in Kuwait… still i loved it, it has been a while since i laughed so much.
They r very nice and friendly too, after the event they sold some dvds and tshirts which they signed got to talk to them, very friendly.
I hope they come again but choose a bigger venue so tickets don’t get sold out so quickly.
Don’t shout it too loud that you had fun – some shithead will ban them from ever coming back to Kuwait. We are not allowed to have fun or laugh….7aram…….remember?

Just came back from AUK too..but was studyin not watching the show :P …I heard some people were selling their tickets at the doors right before the show for 200 K.D.!! (Yes, TWO HUNDRED!!) I mean…Seriously! If I’ll pay 200 K.D. I’d rather buy an iPhone!

sigh… what a fun show… i just wish more of my friends got to watch it. such a funny bunch of guys and they mentioned at the end of the show that they will be visiting again soon :)

3 days till I see them here…(lebanon) I barely managed to get two tickets. they were being sold out as I was at the friggin counter(last week as well) (didn’t know so many people here like to buy stuff online)…they got sold out so quickly they added another show on the 8th, which also got sold out i think..
They may be coming back to Kuwait soon.
