Back to Subway
In November I posted I wasn’t going to have Subway again because their sandwiches were starting to taste really weird and crappy. Well today I went back to Subway and I have to say it was my best experience with them in a long time. The sandwiches tasted really good and it looks like they started using their old ingredients again. They also started making chocolate chip cookies again, this time they are selling them 3 for 400 fils and they are a bit larger then they used to be. Sadly though their older cookies tasted better, the new ones although look and taste better then a lot of cookies (costa and breadz for example) are still not better then my current top 3 which are Choowy Goowy, Fuddruckers and Hardees.

I think it’s time for me to go and get some Subway sometime soon! In the US, Subway was my late night snack quite often! You are right about Kuwait but every now and then it tastes good!
i had the souk sharq branch. i cant vouch for the other branches..
Subway was my late night snack while in the US 2. I never tried the one in Sharaq, last time I had subway was in Al-Khaldeyah and it was yuki!

Sorry to tell you Mark, my friends and I got sandwiches from the Souq sharq branch and found ants inside the sandwiches! From the Shamiyah branch I found hair in the sandwiches. It’s a shame as I love subway and eat subway ALL the time in London and the states. After seeing their complete lack of hygiene, however, I can no longer eat it here. Has anyone tried the Dahia Abdulla salem branch?
when did u last have it? the last time i ate at the souk sharq branch they had ants and stuff walking on the edge of the fridges outside. now though they seemed to have cleaned up. the place looks tidier, they put a shade to keep the sun away and they have 2 employees working inside instead of one.
shamiya branch last time i had it was in november and when i had it i decided not to eat there again. not because i found something in my food but because they seemed to be using different ingredients then what i am used to and the food tasted really weird and bad. i dont know how they are there now i just had the souk sharq branch..

there used to be a ‘mrs fields’ in nuzha coop – great cookies althou a tad expensive (used to come in elaborate tin jars i recall) — whatever happened to them

2. my co-worker had a sandwich from subway in salmiya a few weeks ago and there was a worm in the bread.

I don’t know if they do this everywhere, but in the Subway in Dar Es Salaam, the manager told me that the cookie dough was brought in frozen from the US.
well you should try Aussie cafe’ they have sandwiches way better than subway and they have nice cookies too

its a cafe and its very nice one u can eat there or just have drink there
