Flat tire(s)

pilot sport sp2

Today I had a flat tire AND a flat spare! The worst part though was trying to find four tires for my car. I went to the Canada Dry street and went to all the main dealers and they were mostly out of stock with the good stuff. In the end I managed to get the last two Michelin Pilot Sport PS2 available and I reserved two more that should arrive to Kuwait sometime in July. I reserved two tires, thats like the most ridiculous thing!

this hot weather and flat tire, thats sad. Anyways goodluck with your new tyres that you have ordered and reserved.

  2. Mark says:

thanks, i hope they come in a nice box lol

GOOD CHOICE THE MICHELINS. BUT ANOTHER GOOD TYRE IN THE MARKET IS THE PIRELLI P SERIES.VERY GOOD TRACTION.

  4. Mark says:

I found the PZero Rosso but I didn’t like the thread pattern. Plus I hear Pirelli tires are very noisy on Kuwait roads.

But seriously now why don’t tires come in boxes? I would love to tear open a box and find my new tire lying in a foam box inside.

those are the most expensive street tyres

  6. B.Mikail says:

IF TYRE PRESSURE IS GOOD, NO NOISE WILL COME. ONLY THOSE THAT ARE LAZY TO CHECK AND ADJUST THE PRESSURE EVERY NOW AND THEN HAVE THIS PROBLEM. BUT OTHERWISE, THE PIRELLI TYRE IS EXCELLENT FOR HIGH SPEED AND MANUVARING.

  7. Mansour says:

Michelin are the bests tyres, but unfortunetly their supplier bring the new tyres very late

    Michlein > Pirelli.

    Bridgestone > Michelin > Pirelli

Hey Mark, how come you had a flat spare??
Spare tires should be checked every month to make sure nothing is wrong with them. And in this summer it’s a must.
Anyways, how did you survive waiting in this hot temerature???

I agree with mark and k.
Michelin are most expensive for a good reason.
Lowest noise, best traction and longer life.
I was lucky to try both 4 years ago in a workshop in Dubai where they would test 4 brands of tires on your car and let you see the difference.
Michelin was 650 Dhs per tire while Pirelli and Bridge were like 450 and 480.
Michelin was by far better in all aspects.

PS: I eneded up buying Kumho as I was selling the car :P

  14. K.TheKuwaiti says:

The only decent tire Bridgestone makes is the RE050A .. and that is targeted toward sports coupe and sport sedan drivers.

When it comes down to the best (road) handling tire .. you can’t look farther than Michelin PS2.

  15. Rayboy says:

michelin are good tyres, i picked up the nergy series

  16. Jafar says:

    Mark,
One thing good about the two reserved tires is that you are very sure they are “fresh”
tire chouce also depends on your driving style, even with the top brands you may do just fine with the lower ratings ( i.e. lower sped limits & lower price )) if u really do not drive very fast

I hope your tyres come in a box like you want :D hehe
