Kuwait’s very own Costco?

Ama Traveller just posted pictures and information on a new place that opened up in Kuwait called “On Cost”. Judging by the pictures and her comments it looks very similar in style to the very popular large US retailer, Costco. Where in the world is Alforda, Kuwait? We would need a map. But it does say Sulabiha, isn’t that a really high-crime rate area?

There is a new one opening soon near Lulu in Shuweikh named “SAVECO”, heard that its a part of Qatami group, not sure about it

I went there yesterday and it was like I wasn’t in Kuwait. There are cheaper products there with some unusual items. Ama Traveller’s directions were spot on. You should pay it a visit though it is weirdly placed behind all the vegetable sellers (entered through enterance 1).
It felt like back in South Africa where you buy in bulk for cheaper and at the end they check the goods you puchased and stamp the receipt Lool
sometimes I get like over 30-40 items, and I wonder what they check on the receipt.. it takes them like 2 seconds, stamp and leave.. lol
That’s true Chris. They have to look like their working for the cameras I guess
