Picon and Smeds in Kuwait

Picon & Smeds

This post is for the Lebanese in Kuwait. I found this place next to my house called Toot that sells Picon and Smeds cheese. The Picon is 550fils for a small pack while the Smeds is for KD1.250.

Toot is located in Salmiya, if Jeita is on your right hand side keep going straight and take the right after Maroosh. Then keep going straight and you should see the place in your right hand side under the hotel.

Lama is easy to find. If La Baggete and Dodo are on your right, take the right after dodo and go in like 20 meters, Lama will be on your right.

Lama is a rediculiously priced store! Its actually cheaper to head back to Beirut and fill your suitcase with all the goodies and fly back, especially fresh green almonds, they are 2.50KD for a small half KG box (i dont even know if its 500g it looks even smaller!)

Lama has a weird location…right under what they say is an abandoned haunted house….
wonder how many more customers they’d have if they were on the main road.
