Where do the World’s Tweets come from?

Gizmodo has a visual showing where the majority of the world’s tweets come from and Kuwait is ranked high. Not only that but Kuwait is one of only two other countries with high ratio of tweets to interent users. That’s pretty extraordinary, you can check their post and full uncropped visualization [Here]

  1. His says:

Yet Twitter still don’t have Kuwait as a trend location.

I read the article, and they don’t mention Kuwait at all (but they do mention Brazil and Malaysia, and then they go on talking about Mexico, UK, and USA).. anyone noticed that?

  3. The reason is that Kuwait is the number one country that uses twitter in a completely new way. its supposed to be a micro blog and not a chatting, arguing, meeting social tool
