Where is our lovely camel?

haydoo

On my way to work yesterday I saw some blue banners and something like a stage outside the House of Parliament. Thanks to a reader in the forum (RJV) I found out there was a demonstration yesterday asking for football reform in Kuwait. The full article is available on Kuwait Times if anyone wants to read it. I personally haven’t watched that many soccer matches after 1990. Most of the games I watched were all pre-1990 and my favorites then were whenever Kuwait played against Saudi Arabia. Since I play the goal keeper position my favorite player then was Samir Saeed which is why I am now a big fan of Mr Baker (he owns it). I feel like playing football now.

Anyway in case you missed it, here is my post on
Haydoo, Kuwait’s lovely camel. [Link]

hmmm… we need someone to champion sports in kuwait, not just a political figure who will just sit there.. they need incentives to play and a real curriculum! its sad!

I wish there was a gulf club cup! Now that would be interesting! The players would then move about and things would be working at a higher level!

  5. someone says:

well thats what i heard, might be wrong. All I know is “someone” made him an offer he could not refuse

  6. moocherx says:

Why don’t we just buy foreign players, like Qatar does.

The camel was there cause shiekh fahad il a7mad wanted him there, and ever since he was killed he just kinda faded away cause no one really cared.. =( which is so sad, cause i really miss that camel, and i wish they’d bring him back.

moocherx…we don’t wanna be like Qatar…whats the point of having players play for a team that isnt from there country..i mean every coutry should have players from there country to show that country’s players capabilities…not some other country’s.
