Caramel Americanized
The Lebanese movie Caramel is going to get released in the States and with that they’ve created an Americanized version of the trailer and it SUCKS! The trailer makes the movie look like a cheesy b-rated straight to video romantic comedy. Couldn’t they also find another guy to do the voice over? [American Trailer]

This is the sort of dumb quaint foreign film that stupid wannabe ‘cultured’ yanks would like.
A shite film for a shite audience, so what’s the problem again?
The english version is much better imo

You’re mostly welcome mark … but i think they didn’t present it as “cheesy b-rated” … i show it to some of my good eurpean ‘n american’s’ friends who loved the trailer and the wanted to see it since they have never seen a Lebanese movies before!

The movie is more than amazing, I saw it twice in Amman and once in Lebanon, great movie indeed
I liked the beginning of the trailer but after like 30 seconds or so it become kind of boring and long. The voice is typical in all US trailer :)
Recently I have picked up an interest in France, French culture, French lifestyle and movies. Caramel must have been influenced by French filmography. I think I want to see this. Going to ask my Lebanese friends if they’ve seen it already and where to find it in the Western world NOW.
