    Off-Topic

Mark why you don’t duplicate your blog to instagram? one post can hold multiple pictures and there’s comment section. and good thing about your write style that you don’t pack articles with much words.

you will reach more people since everyone on social media, blogs was great 5 years ago, not everyone check websites on mobile nowadays.

you was a king once with blogging but you didn’t sense the trend.

move on with the technology, better late than never.

I think you’re confused, there is no relation between blogging and Instagram, they’re two very different tools. Maybe if I was a fashionista I’d use Instagram more but I’m a writer and I write articles. Instagram is a very horrible tool to share articles. It would be such a big step backwards moving to such a limited platform like Instagram.

Blogs are still alive and kicking and are still the most popular sources of content and news online. I’m willing to bet more than half of your top 10 visited sites are blogs like Engadget, gizmodo, the verge, kotaku, jalopnik, autoblog, 248am etc…

So no idea why you think blogs were great 5 years ago and not now. My traffic at the moment for example is the highest it’s ever been and still growing every year. I’m on the cutting edge of technology here using the best and latest blogging platform on one of the best hosting sites around and delivering the latest content on a daily basis. I am a trend setter and just because I’m choosing to write articles online instead of sharing photos on insta doesn’t mean I’m not.

So thanks for your feedback but I know what I’m doing here.

Glad that your blog is going stronger, but what i meant is to have another exposure to support your main blog not moving completely.

by mirroring the articles to Instagram posts, whenever we want the full details or high-res photos/videos we can still visit the blog by a blog link on your bio.

yes the blogs you mentioned are sure industry leaders on their topics worldwide, but you have better flexibility since it’s a personal blog.

it was just an idea to let the followers of your blog catch your posts by another means, or new comers to find your blog.

anyway just sharing my idea, Goodluck Mark.

I see what you mean, end of the day though i’d like everyone to read the blog with the same experience. Instagrammers wouldn’t be able to have the same experience due to the limitations of instagram so they would be missing out on a lot. For example most of my posts contain links instagram doesn’t allow links. Some of my posts contains videos and photos, instagram doesn’t allow that. You can leave a comment on this blog anonymously, instagram doesn’t allow that. The blog has other popular sections like the classifieds and kuwestions, instagrammers wouldn’t have access to them. the list goes on..
