The picture above is of the US military preparing for the 50/20 parade. Someone told me the military parade will take place on the Gulf Road but according to the PDF I downloaded from the Kuwait Fest website, the only military parade that takes place is going to be in Al-Subiya. Does anyone know if there will be one on the Gulf Road? [Link]

al subiya, its in the north, who will go there.half the day will go reaching there.
to all,i need conformation that it will be on the gulf road or not?
the cannons will shoot out foam.
That would be funny, because foam is banned now. Imagine a Kuwaiti police officer giving a fine to a US tank driver lol.
stay at home and watch it on TV..im sure KTV will have a live telecast. better than being shot at with pee filled water guns..heard that’s going to replace foam …!!
So does that mean the US military will participate in the parade? That would be a public media disaster!
Ok, so it’s not just US military, there will be participations from the “coalition troops”. That’s a bit better.
Subiya?
Min 9ejhom?
Subiya as in Subiya one hour+ driving from Kuwait city Subiya? emsaween parade ib gal3at wadreen 7g mino insha2 Allah? Who is going to leave the city center to go watch a military parade in Subiya?!
i say watching TV would do if that’s the case!
That pdf list is annoying, I wish it was in chronological order. Also does anyone know the exact location of the fireworks & laser display on 25th?
There’s going to be a fireworks display (supposed to be good stuff) near Kuwait Towers. I will check back on the date and time and reply back.
the fireworks show and laser show will be located at kuwait towers (they rented some equipment from our co to help them in prep) at least till this moment 🙂
Can someone please explain to me where is Al-Subiya ??? or center it on google maps please

OT: Standing in line in front of 360 to find parking space for an hour, for some people is ok, but to drive and see a parade, that is to much … dont get it :S
thanks

Don`t know were the parade is located, but you need about 1:30 hrs to reach Subya driving within speed limits and from last week there are some roads diversions (probably in preparation for parade ???! ).
thanks … it does look a bit more than 1:30 hour drive 🙂
I’m looking forward to it. It’s nice to be living in Kuwait alongside the Kuwaiti’s while they are celebrating such an important milestone.
One hour is not far at all and well worth the drive for what is sure to be a fantastic day!
The parade will never be in the city,
They will be in Subeya Road.
Here’s a list of events that I received:
Thursday Feb 24th:
– Kuwait Towers: Special Forces show at 3:30pm followed by fireworks at 6:00pm.
———————————————-
Friday Feb 25th:
– Anjifa Beach: Classic Car Show at 1:00pm. they will drive on the Gulf Road starting from Anjifa Beach to Kuwait Towers. Other cars can join.
– Kuwait Towers: Big Fireworks at 7:00pm. This is a must see.
———————————————-
Saturday Feb 26th:
– Subiya Road: Military Parade that will include Coalition Forces as well at 10:00am. Subiya Road starts from the end of the 4th Ring Road heading towards Jahra. It is about 25min drive.
———————————————-
Sunday Feb 27th:
– Gulf Road: Carnival Parade starting from Shaab Park on the Gulf Road (Dunno what time)
———————————————
Monday Feb 28th:
– Marina Mall: Water Show at Marina Mall Beach around noon.
The Military Parade will take place in Subeya, 10 military forces will participate (Originally 11, but Egypt backed out with all the chaos), the same forces that liberated Kuwait in 1991. It will not be on Gulf Road, more than 50 presidents or their representatives will be attending, and it is open to the public too.
The only event taking place on the Gulf Road (from the military) is the Navy “parade”, I think that will take place in front of Marina Mall.
I’ve had people say it will be on the gulf road and others say it will be a show on the water. I don’t know.
