Has anyone here ever flown with Pegasus Airlines before? I checked ticket prices to London and if you’re really flexible with your dates you can get tickets for KD110 or tickets to Barcelona for KD100 for example. It’s a no frills Turkish airline and all flights go through Turkey, like a Turkish version of Jazeera Airways. [Link]
Update: I just realized according to their press release, they start flying from Kuwait starting March 26th.
Update2: I love their description of Kuwait on their website…
Kuwait is a well-known business destination, with a number of interesting sites worth seeing including Failaka Island with its old dhows and archaeological sites and the traditional-style shops at Al-Mubarakiya. Activities to be enjoyed in Kuwait include horse-riding, golfing and sailing.

Yes, I have tried this flight within Turkey a few years back for as low as 5kd, good services, always on time,I just passed by their office being setup in kuwait at the Emad Commercial Center next to Udupi restaurant in Kuwait city last week. They have good package deals for European countries too.
I have tried them on 2011 from Turkey to Zurich. The tickets were dead cheap, good service and plane.
Something must’ve hit your head when you were up wing-walking. Everything on the blog page now is slanted italic font 😐
pgs might fly. haraam
I had been checking fares to Barcelona about a month ago and I got a hard to believe fare on this flight. I simply ignored it thinking it was a scam :/
I think you left an open Italics tag.
Also I laughed when I read “no frills version of Turkish” Because Turkish airlines is already pretty bad despite having ads with famous athletes in them
Thanks u were right
LCC, no frills, and you have to land in transit instead of direct flight?
Thanks but I wouldn’t mind paying an extra cash for my convience (direct flight, full-service airline, entertainments on a 6 hours flight, etc.)
I don’t know how you people think!
I’m sure you also wouldn’t mind paying extra cash for business class as well but not everyone works at the ministry of oil.
if you check carefully, their lugage limit is 15 or 20kg and you really have to pay for every extra kgs.they r serious about it.they do not serve food in the plane and you have to pay for everything you buy.plus their planes are always so crowded because most ppl buy their tickets from them bcs it is cheap.and planes are not that great as some other ppl mentioned above.and you cant fly directly.you will stop in istanbul and you do not know how long you are going to wait in istanbul.i do not know about the difference but its better you prefer direct flights.or try it once and see,
Well look at it this way, BA luggage limit is 23KG and if you go over it you need to pay. I also don’t eat on the plane neither do I use the planes entertainment system. Plus BA flights are always packed, like fly randomly mid week and the plane is fully booked.
Regarding the stop in Istanbul, well if you’re flying to majority of the places on this planet unless you’re willing to fly Kuwait Airways you’re most likely going to have transit somewhere.
I wouldn’t take Pegasus to London for example mostly because you don’t land in neither gatwick or heathrow and instead land in Stansted which is an 1 hour 40 minutes away from where I want to be in London. Add the transit time to it and it will take me half a day to get to London instead of 1/4 of the day. But might be worthwhile to places like Spain for example, 100KD to Barcelona that’s as much as it costs to go to Beirut.
I tend to think like Mark when travelling by myself…wife and daughter? Different story. There are pluses and minuses for whatever way you decide to go.
in this case it might be okay.
i mean, if you do not eat in the plane, and do not watch movies etc, and do not mind paying for the extra luggage you would have and think that the trip will take only 7-8 hours and you can bear those things if you pay less money…then we can say that it worths flying with pegasus.
if you think that way…you would never fly with business class then.because all passengers go to the same place in same time.no? 🙂
check out google for pegasus reviews – NOT pretty
lol
I just read some of the reviews. Here’s a quote: “If Pegasus was the only airline flying I would walk”. Ouch!
I checked their schedule. In the flight to Zurich you stay in Istanbul 6 hours each way! It may be okay if you’re young, single & on a tight budget, but for families with kids this is hell. Plus I don’t like crowded flights. No thanks, I’ll stick with KLM for comfort & speedy layovers in a beautiful airport.
I was going to book a flight to Berlin, but I thought “too cheap to be true”. Terrible reviews. I wouldn’t mind to pay extra money to guarantee that my flight won’t be cancelled in the last minute and that my luggage arrives with me..
Looking forward to hear more feedback about this company..
Someone needs to try this airline, maybe we can all pitch in and get someone a ticket to try it out and let us know how it went.
Actually maybe I should just book a ticket to Berlin myself and try it for a weekend
I’m volunteering if anyone wants to send me :D!!
Yes. Please!! I also hope that they will retain their current prices.
flying pegasus to london in a couple of days – will let you know how it turns out!
yes it was very similar to AlJazeera, not bad at all and cheap..My trip was from Istanbul to Antalya
They will open soon in kuwait 🙂
I would like to know about your lines to turky
Where is the address of Pegasus Airlines in Kuwait and contact numbers please..
I must express my sheer delight with the services provided in Kuwait offices. Ms Noha is a wonderful person and she has gone out of her way to help me on more than one occasion. Really, I have never had such a perfectly professional experience with any airlines.
