Over the weekend I passed by Digits and picked up an iPhone 11 Pro to replace my iPhone XS with. I’m going to be posting my opinion on it later this week but if there is anything specific you want to know or want me to try out, let me know in the comments so I can include it in my post.

Are there trade in promotions in Kuwait?
I think there is at astore.
VIVA has a trade-in offer.
Gait also
1- Is camera improved as much as some reviewers claim? Can you feel the difference readily or do you have to study the images side by side.
2- How much better is the battery life? (it will probably take you a few charge cycles to determine that).
Zain called me with a “special offer” of iPhone 11 Pro plus 1 TB of date and a portable wifi router and free calls/texts etc.. all for KD 49/mo
Should I take it? I’m still on my 2 year old iPhone X and I don’t feel the urge to upgrade
Well that depends on how much you’re paying per month, how much you can get for selling your current iPhone and how much the extra data is worth to you
Hi!
Is it true that the first batch of iphones usually have some technical difficulties and it’s better to wait for the second batch or is that just a myth? I’m dying to upgrade but everyone keeps telling me to wait for the second batch?
Never heard this urban myth before. Are you sure people weren’t referring to the software (iOS) because it is well established that 11.0, then 12.0 and now 13.0 were all quite buggy
Not sure honestly and technology is not my friend which is why i’m asking lol ;p
Nope, that’s not true
Thanks!
Is it green?
Yes, I have a question: how soon did you regret the upgrade from the Xs?
You know that he’ll write a long paragraph to explain how it makes sense to him right? XD
well if it didn’t make sense i wouldn’t have gotten it 😅
Has Apple carried over the charging issue of XS to 11 series?
what charging issue?

Yeah saw that, apparently some users still have it.
Will it blend?
I would like to know the following :-
1) How good is Battery Life? How long the phone runs after 1x 100% charge?
2) What specifically is new ( Except the Cameras )
I can help with that
Design – there’s a new Midnight Green color. The front is basically the same, the bigger changes are on the back with a new matte finish. The apple logo now sits exactly in the centre of the device. The iPhone text at the bottom is now gone. The camera housing glass is however still glossy like previous iPhones, the camera bump is sculpted so the entire back is now one sheet of glass (kinda like the iPhone 7 where the camera bump was also sculpted from the back aluminum housing). There are further individual bumps on each camera lens but they’re insignificant.
Water Resistance – Same IP68 rating, however the maximum depth which the iPhone can be submerged into is 4 meters for 30 minutes up from 2 meters for 30 minutes
Display – Same screen sizes as before, however there’s a higher sustained brightness of 800 nits compared to 625 nits on previous iPhones so better visibility under the sun and extreme lighting conditions. Maximum brightness of 1200 nits only when viewing HDR-compatible content. The screen uses 15% less power compared to previous iPhones. Higher contrast ratio of 2 million to 1. 3D Touch is gone, now replaced with Haptic Touch which is the same as the iPhone XR.
Battery life – up to 4 hours more battery life on 11 Pro when compared to Xs and 5 hours more on 11 Pro Max when compared to Xs Max. 18 Watt power adapter now included in the box, 50% charge in 30 minutes
Processor – A13 Bionic with 3rd generation neural engine, 20% faster CPU and 40% faster GPU while using 30% less power
Face ID – 30% faster Face ID, works from wider angles compared to Xs
Speakers – surround sound with support for Dolby Atmos
I’ve got the pro max via a special offer in Viva. Sold my iPhone X and covered the first six months of the contract which I paid off immediately.
The step up for the x to the pro max is significant.
There is really no need to upgrade to a newer iphone even if you have an iphone 8plus. For those of you who have an iphone X or iphone Xs max, then definitely you dont need the new iphone and waste on your money just because it had an additional lens or an improved battery life, you can have a fantastic wide angle with an additional lens attached onto the camera lens and this would cost you cheaper
Apple has given their users a fantastic camera ever since they launched iphone 7plus, things got better when the 8plus came out, and the craziness of results you can get is just another level of insanity
For those who have an iphone 6 or lower can probably switch and feel another world of tech, but really hold on to your pockets for a while, its not time yet to put your cash onto a new iphone unless you want to be socially acceptable which is then an undebatable scenario
It might be significant for few to make that switch, but really there isnt much that would come out for anyone with an upgrade unless its from a half dead iphone 7 or lower
I am all set to make a comparison video between the iphone 8plus and iphone 11pro max and share some proven camera results which would definitely make the iphone 8plus a winner
Congrats on the new stove! :p
the only disadvantage about the phone that it doesn’t carry the 5G service.
I’ve been an early adopter of each new version of the Apple iPhone since the 3GS (remember that model?). However, I just cannot see enough reason to change up from my XS Max this time around.
The XS Max is already a fairly hefty phone, especially with the obligatory screen protector and case. I think the 11 Pro Max is even heavier! And I can’t get over the ugliness of the rear square 3 lens design – which is so unlike Apple to do.
What color did you pick? I’m thinking of picking a midnight green but afraid that I may get bored of the color! whats your opinion?
Midnight green
