If you have a Zain mobile number or internet device then you’ve probably encountered a problem similar to what is pictured above, where an image gets repeated over and over when browsing my blog using their network. I have no idea why that happens, my theory is that Zain’s cache system is very aggressive to help make things quicker but the side effect is my blog and I’m guessing other ones as well will end up looking weird. So if you’re a Zain IT guy reading this, maybe you guys could put my blog on the do not cache list or something?

Mark, Try recharging or paying your Zain Bill. The Service for recharge and payment has been down since morning….Even the Zain App is not working…

Yes they do have bad caching system implemented I believe. Some websites in Kuwait doesn’t work properly only in Zain’s network like met.gov.kw. Sometimes they work on some Zain’s tower and doesn’t work on another tower (or area).
We tried to convince them about the problem and resolve it because some people couldn’t view my work’s website only on Zain’s network, they resolve it either temporarily or partially then it comes back again. Too much trouble dealing with them and convincing them…

You don’t waste a moment criticizing & bashing Kuwait I’ve been observing your for some time now, And you never ever took the time congratulate the people of this country on Ramadan or Eid.

Wat kind of rubbish are u talking about? Mark has made an entire post to congratulate people on ramadan and helping them out with the ramadan timings https://248am.com/fajer/law/kuwait-law-ramadan-hours/. Secondly he criticises the crappy things that are happening here, not only that but personally see Mark’s criticism as the most respectful and least bias compared to the other blogs here. Tbh i think mark’s blog is probably the most professional blog I’ve seen here in kuwait (except when he goes all Jeremy clarkson when testing cars).

He criticizes Kuwait just fine wherever it is needed, healthy criticism is welcomed and I believe it does make a positive difference. Plus, this blog has introduced many of us to upcoming, ongoing and completed construction projects, reviews, restaurants, things to do and many more.. every tried his classifieds section?
Everybody may have their issues with this blog but you cannot generalize it by saying the blog always criticizes and bashes Kuwait.
And Mark, I still recommend using the word Quran instead of Koran to refer the book 🙂

I have zain. I turned off the wifi before testing this. You’re website works just fine. Perhaps its more of a browser problem than a network problem.

If you took 2 seconds to read the post you’d know I specifically said that the problem is with Zain and not my blog.
yeah side effect is your blog… nowadays people are into snapchat and loads of them, still good to see blogs still surviving nowadays.

I had the same problem with my works Web Mail site their web caching system always redirects to the root site page.
It loads just fine over our Zain connection at work, I don’t know if it’s because we use OpenDNS
