Event: World Humanitarian Day

Every year on August 19 the world remembers all those aid workers who lost their lives while trying to help people in need. The World Humanitarian Day pays tribute to them by raising awareness of humanitarian issues and efforts to help people. This World Humanitarian Day marks 10 years since the United Nations headquarters in Baghdad was bombed and 22 UN and aid agency workers were killed.

World Humanitarian Day in Kuwait is holding an event today (19th of August 2013) at 5PM at Al-Hamra Mall.

When I forst read “World Humanitarian Day Kuwait” I laughed. Then I remembered the minority who actually did something. I wish everyone was part of this “minority”.

Agree with above two statements. Let’s see some humanitarian action for labour law violations in the cases of labourers, and something passed to help maids out of their shitty situations – then kuwait wont be laughworthy when it comes to humanitarianism.

To change the world, you change yourself.

I like the concept of this event, why should it be degraded because its in kuwait?
