Its sad that you want it shut down. Yes its fake, but people earn a living of this. Besides, what harm is it doing to you or any of those brands??

I fail to understand the level of intelligence that some of the above posters have. It will make a lot of sense to ask for shops that sell knockoffs and replicas as originals. But it makes no sense at all to ask for those that sells replicas, price them accordingly and admits its a replica!!

If you don’t want a replica then don’t buy it… Others sure love to get a watch that they feel spending couple of grands over is not worth. If you are jealous because you are paying for originals 300 percent over its ORIGINAL price (the price of the same item sold somewhere else abroad) then this is your problem, it shouldn’t be anyone elses.

I understand that some people enjoy the idea of dividing the community into different ‘layers’… the wealthy, the average, the poor, and so on… and I do understand that everyone looking the same is not so good if the only thing you’re good with in this life is bragging through money.. but come on, don’t we have anything better than this?

The worst comment was that guy who asked to stop selling DVDs by the Co-ops.. why do you want that to happen exactly? You know very well that original dvds are hardly available in the market due to Ministry of Information restrictions, take Virgin as one example of attempt to bring media into the country. if you’re a person who order ur videos online or ask friends to bring them for u from abroad then keep in mind you’re not the only person living in this country, and not everyone in this country got this kind of ‘access’ to films!

and EDI, how does selling fake watches compare to selling drugs?

@ 3azeez who apparently was refering to me … sorry if my comment offended you in any way … yes i hope that they do stop selling those DVDs … the fact that you can’t get an original copy here in Kuwait is a problem that is not solved by selling illegal dvds in public … this is a crime in most countries … you are looking at things from your point of view … but what about the money lost for the team that worked hard on those movies because people are getting copies for free… againI am not against people buying those things …bacoz its cheap and available … I am against them being sold in public as if its okay … sorry but regardless of what you think … its illegal … and ethically wrong! …. and yes all people should have the same necessities in life but not necessarily the same luxuries…

Look – The fact that there are so many rip-off merchants here in Kuwait does not make it right. Fashion brands spend a lot of time and energy developing and selling their products so does it then seem right for others to come along and rip them off. I am sure most of us aren’t the least beast interested whether this shop remains open or closes but lets not sit here pretending that what rip-off merchants do is a good thing.

Besides, why are we so brand concious anyway – does the fact we carry (or appear to carry) a Prada bag rather than an H&M bag really define who we are as a person – how shallow minded is that.

Well Mark! Lot of negative comments for you. Some people just won’t understand that it may be a coincident for you to come across this shop & you did not pick it intentionally.
For all the rest who are against shutting down the shop… There’s never a right reason for doing the wrong thing. Wrong will always be wrong. Whether you want to take an initiative to STOP IT or NOT, is your call.

@Khozema: Why is it wrong? It’s not like they’re advertising it to be real Hublots. I don’t think anyone with a well full of money will buy their watch from a tiny little shop like this so it’s not like the original Hublots and Tag Heuers consider this to be stiff competition and a serious drain to their income. If you *really* want to stand up for what’s right, there are a million other things you can protest against than some shop selling imitation watches in the middle of nowhere.

I am gona buy a fake watch and see how long it takes someone to figure it out its fake. Maybe sell it for what the original sells for.

i have the real hublot but my problem is that its so expensive that i hate to wear it …
i think i’m going to the store buy the replica for normal places like school ,, family gatherings ,, est ..
and the real hublot 4 important occasion 🙂
