If it wasn’t for Google Maps advising me to take the Fahaheel Expressway on the way to the city this morning, I would have gotten stuck 40 minutes on the Gulf Road. Turns out part of the Gulf Road before KFC was completely flooded. Based on the videos I’ve been watching all morning on @kuwaitup2date, it looks like a bunch of places got hit pretty bad during the night. Check out the videos [Here]

The funny thing is that I was watching Venice Marathon yesterday on TV and was hoping to be there. Looks like my wish got somehow distorted in my head before it went up there LoL
It’s coming back this afternoon, be careful today and tomorrow.
Actually before I went to bed yesterday, I didn’t get to sleep at all and was like: there’s a thunder storm that’s coming. I literally didn’t watch the forecast or anything else but I just had that thought, as soon as I slept, it happened.

Funny how it rains and schools are off for 2 days as though it snowed.

Good thing they did give the schools off.. Traffic is bad as it is on normal school days could you imagine school buses and folks taking their kids to school being stuck in the rain clogged streets.. More than anything I would feel sorry for the kids stranded in the buses
