The Windows Gaming Championship should have started on May 10th (yesterday) but the custom PC’s the organizers had ordered were not cleared by the Kuwait customs. The event has now been postponed till May 17th and 18th. Here is a message from the organizer:
Dear All, Please accept our sincere apologies but due to a technical problem, we haveto postpone the Windows Gaming Championship Kuwait event until next week. The event will take place on Thursday 17th and Friday 18th May, on the ground floor of Sharq Market Mall, near Zara and Next from 1pm – 10pm on both days.
With many thanks and best regards,
Louise Hickman

“The event will “not” take place on Thursday 17th and Friday 18th May,”
??
Thats pretty cool but I’m surprised I didn’t hear about it earlier!
It was a typo by the organizer.
ahhhh, the days of wasting hours playing COunter Strike will now have a reason.
like Cajie once said:
“I Heart Kuwait Customs” !!
Thats gay…just two games?
Watching those kids is funny. They get all dressed up and gelled up to sit in a dark room staring at a screen. Now they get to do it in public with guys watching them screaming “mouse froze! replace! immediately!”.
I pity the foo’ who participates.
The event was originally slated to take place at Virgin, but they must’ve panicked when it was shut down for a few days
