When I left Kuwait around a week ago it was 10 degrees and freezing cold. I got back yesterday and it’s was 23, hot and humid. Feels like winter came and left and I missed it while I was in New York.

yeah I came back from Eid and all of a sudden it was freezing so I got all the winter clothes out. Hasn’t been cold since then :I thanks global warming

Kuwait reaches less than 10 degree temperatures every year, it definitely has defined winter and summer. Dubai is the one that has similar weather year round, emiratis that come here in the winter complain it’s too cold.

That’s coz of the extreme Snow fall/Cold from the nearby neighboring countries surrounding Q8! The Actual Winter in kuwait Below 10!??! Not a Fact! Noways!!!

I’ve seen it go negative before, and if you’re in the desert it’s always close to 0 in the winter.

it get cold around December – January….and that’s it.

Wait .. So you left Kuwait when it was cold .. And Newyork IS cold .. Doesn’t that make you experience winter … Twice ?
NY was cold the first 2 days (tshirt with jacket on top), hot for 2 days (like walking around in tshirt hot), rained for a day and then really really cold for like 2 days (jacket, sweater, gloves and skit hat cold).
This year’s weather has really been messed up. š
@B this ‘century’s weather has been really screwed up’ lol- and scientists were commenting ( again) yesterday that we should continue to expect ‘freak’ weather……what’s that? falling frogs? ice in June? Who knows.I just wish it would hurry up and get cold- I want to get my Uggs on.
We’ve had natural disasters increase in frequency so that will probably keep going. Fun

Share your experience with Siri in NY !!
I mostly used siri to find food and shops. So it would be like siri where cani have pancakes or siri where is burberry and i’d wait for a response. I was always connected to EDGE and no 3G so it took her a bit longer to find me the answer but it wasn’t too bad.
Do you think there is a problem with 4s? Cos it frequently gets connected to EDGE as you face the same in Kuwait too !
You should had passed by an Apple store to check on this issue.
No it’s a problem with T-Mobile. Their 3G network runs on a different frequency from the rest of the world.
I saw a friend in one of Zain branches who had this problem with iPhone 4s ..
They discovered that the new iPhone have an issue with their new sim cards so they gave him an old one and cut it to fit in the mini sim pocket =)
Problem was solved immediatly !
