I just finished watching two seasons of the TV show Carnivàle and it turned out to be really weird.. but in a good way. I love HBO they have the coolest shows. I started watching this show not knowing what to expect, all I knew was that it was based in the early 1930’s during the great depression and follows a traveling carnival. The show turned out to be a lot more then that and features some of the strangest characters you are bound to see in a show. I heard that the show is currently playing on Orbit but if you haven’t watched it from the first episode I would get it on DVD instead. Not one of my top 5 favorite shows ever but easily fits into my top 10. [Link]

it seems nice, I wonder how you keep up with all of these shows
i find justin really cute
welcome to 2003, i told u HBO makes all the really good shows.
they should have a gay show on HBO, now that I would watch. Something like Will & Grace but with nudity!
i don’t know why i keep embarrassing myself like this!
Not my kind of show! I’m not into 1930s except if its old gangster movies. Other then that I will stick to the current shows! There is alot to choose from!
I was going to get the 1st season box from Virign when they first had it, but then I remembered that it didn’t last more than a couple of season and there’s always the chance that Virign might not bring the other boxes, leaving me stuck for good. It happened to me with Seinfeld :S
Interesting show, that’s for sure. I was sorry when HBO canceled it.
whats your top 10 ?
it would be tough to give all 10 but i think i can give my top 5.
1) Six Feet Under
2) Arrested Development
3) Seinfeld
4) Sopranos
5) Nip / Tuck
I enjoyed it, especially season 1, but then I think when they found out it was going to be canceled, they changed the storyline and finished it quick.
Mark where the hell is 24! Above all of those!
marzouq its in my top 10 🙂
24 = went down in season 6
I generally liked this show, but it was depressing at times. Best thing about it was that it questioned good vs. bad in society, focusing on how immediate perceptions are not always true, and that anyone can accept a personality if they don’t know their full story (role of evil priest on radio and in front of an audience).
Definitely, this show’s worth watching, and I really want to watch Deadwood as well.
Season 2 of Twin Peaks was released recently, also worth watching.
where do they sell it? i have asked 2 places so far but they said that they have never selled such series! so HELP
you guys want a crazy show? get millennium, the same creator of X-Files, but even better.
Mark.. you’re really missing out on a very good show.. don’t know if you have tried watching it before or not, but it’s amazing,
Entourage is the name, season 4 will be finished in 3 more weeks.. gotta start from the beginning … it’s funny as hell
I love Entourage, I am also currently on season 4, its also one of my favorite shows..
I don’t think ANYONE (mostly guys though) will say no to Entourage, it’s amazing
