I heart Costco

Some people like going to museums when they travel or visiting monuments and stuff but I prefer doing random non touristy things instead. Yesterday I passed by Costco on the way back from Coney Island. I love the place, I swear I would move to the US (or Canada) just for Costco. For those of you who don’t know what it is, Costco is a giant warehouse style store where they sell a variety of stuff from food, to electronics, to clothes, books, dvds and medicine all in bulk sizes or great deals. Sultan Center tries to do the same with their Sultan Center wholesale branch but fail miserably.

I love walking around Costco and checking out the absurdly large over-sized boxes of food and snacking on the sampling stations. Next on my to do list is a Wal-mart in New Jersey and the large Best Buy at the East River Plaza.

The food can be good value. Most other stuff (particularly the electronics) is overpriced compared to buying online, though the return policy is handy.

Costco is amazing. There was a sitcom where one of the main characters was making a big deal of having a Costco card, as if it’s an exclusive club.

Their food is amazing. If you like guacamole, I highly recommend it from there. No preservatives and VERY delicious.

Order online? Amazon? I don’t think you guys know what costco is. It’s like a supermarket, u can’t order food online and ship it to Kuwait and even if u could I enjoy fucking walking into a supermarket and finding all my favorite items instead of having to order them off the web. Like seriously you guys need to get out more…

cajie: long live the REDNECKS!!

LOL even though I have never been to COSTCO and would rather get my goods at a Super Target than a Wal-Mart!!

Hey Mark.Could you buy me a 16GB 3GS iPhone at Walmart. They’re going for $97 because the next model is coming out next week.

Costco aka Sam’s club is aweeessommeee! and yeah there food is great! you should try the sausage and the frozen yogurt.. the portions are ridic! Say whatsup to Walmart for me.. I could walk around those stores for hours!

Costco in the Uk is great for buying in bulk. The fresh pizzas are huge and great value.

We tend to go there at christmas, as you can really stock up for the holidays.

Yes…

This is much better than doing all sorts of crap like seeing the museums/sights/shows/architecture/street culture… Why would you do that when you can spend your time in a giant supermarket?

🙂

You know that you don’t spend all day in a super market right? its like an hour of the day. Plus the experience of getting to a Costco specially like the one I went to which was located in an industrial area is more interesting than walking down 5th ave surrounded by tourists.

لول صج الناس أذواق! متعني لي نيويورك عشان تتمشي بكوستكو و تأكل فائق قايز لول

Coney Island? you rode the “D” train of course to the Surf Avenue station. how were the Frankfurters at Nathan’s, yummy. did you go for a swim in the ocean?

Costco scares the poop outa me. I hate it when my mom buys products from there when I am back in the States. I always ask her where the fuck she is going to put 200 cans of Tuna fish or 500 packs of toilet paper. Costco is a stadium for consumer products. Big Ass Consumer America at its finest.

I love the frozen foods section of Costco! Dang, I’m gonna have to look up the nearest one and pick up a membership this summer!

I agree with u, it is a nice place with awesome prices. However you did’t minsion that you need to buy a membership before buying and they accepts cash only.
