When I was playing Street Fighter II you were still getting breast fed.
I like it. The animations they made on the faces are pretty impressive for a fighting game. I love how they tried to keep it as close to as a classic SF as they could. Can’t wait for this! =)
I really like it very much, the art, the animations, the moves, but something is bugging me, ryu looks more American than ken, or should I say non Japanese looking.
It’s good. pretty good. though I might agree with those who says that the americanized art style is somewhat ugly, but hey -it’s a new Street Fighter, something I knew it was never going to happen. good god.
I don’t know if I’m able to provide links about some things that Ono and 1Up team has discussed in EGM, if you mind, just erase ’em.
And just to remind some of you guys, we have Hyper Street Fighter 2 Remix still coming in the first quarter of this year, to both of Xbox Live Arcade and PSN.
Capcom should just fix up the art style…unless they wanna pass SFIV as a joke to the american SF community !
I’m keeping the cash for SF2HD.
not bad but they characters look too chunky.
Ryu always looked like that, he never really looked Japanese to begin with.
It’s also the feeling. In Street Fighter 4 they look like, how can I say it, uninspired recreation of the characters, even though we only saw two of them right now. Also, in the comics they look extremely good.
And that’s how a male Japanese looks like? Comeon, we all know how the Japanese look like and Ryu does not look Japanese at all.
I dont understand what all the complaining is about, if you want something to complain about go play Street Fighter EX (the 3D SF games that should have never been made). The character models in this video are animated really well, they’re quite believable. What did anyone really expect of the next Street Fighter?
I meant Japanese art style, and Americanized art style as well. And I didn’t say that the animations were bad, I believe they will be the best, if not THE best, amongst the fighting games. I was referring to the style only.
Mark Guilty Gear much?
I had a dreamcast 😉
Ken:
If you look at the concept art of SF4, you will see that Ryu still looks pretty much the same. The links you sent me too, were not in game pics and if you look at the in-game pics of any SF game, Ryu never looked anything like the art.
On another note: Guilty Gear probably has the best artwork in any fighting game.
Same Mark. 😉
Guilty Gear FTW.
looks like a good move .. its always nice to see retro games back for the old gamers..

I somehow disagree with you, Patrick.
