No more McGangBangs

I just realized that just over a year ago I posted about the McGangBang and how great it was but now I haven’t had a McDonalds burger (or BK, KFC, Hardees etc..) for nearly a year. I’m eating a lot healthier, having a ton of salad and not really missing any of the fast food. I went from eating at those fast food joints practically daily to never. I think it’s like quitting smoking (I don’t smoke but I’m guessing). It’s difficult at first but then once you’re off you’re off.

That’s my 9th year not eating from a fastfood joints. Because they are not healthy at all and secondly it will just fill you up and gain you extra bad fat. Keep it up mark : “>

I dont eat the regular fast food anymore, if I do want to indulge ill go for something a bit more upscale like ‘Fatburger’ (dubai) or Fuddys and Rockets in Kuwait. Something like ‘Fatburger’ has fresh ingredients, crisp lettuce, tomato etc so it feels less like fast food and more of a clean meal.

When you quit fast food, it truly is like cigarettes, you dont want to go back and when you do go back and eat the regular stuff, you feel bad after. Regular fast food has way too many calories, frankly, the Kuwait outfits, you have to watch it, sanitation wise and also the quality of the food (expiration etc).

shit i hate those people who come every sec to whine about junk food, what about the smokers which they’re the worst, they smoke and still live long like shit.

i hope every nutrition die and let us eating our happy meals peacefully.

seriously i reckon ….its hw smart ur whn u make ur pick @ a juck food place …..for egz u can alwayz go to McDonalds n order for a Gormet chicken instead ov a Double quater Or a Twister @kfc insted on da chicken pices itself!! not tht am totally into junk food or anythng ,am a health freak azwell but its not necessary to give up on all foods ….all it takes is a smart choice;) until n unless u wanna sit @ home n make all ya meals by urself (which personally i woudnt) but hey …thn go right ahead n knock urself out:P

I did stop 3 year then back normally 3-5 times on 1 year only burger hup – boutiqe not too much like befor …. the juck food last choice for me now πŸ™‚

It is not the same, as smoking results in nicotine dependency and will cause withdrawal symptoms when you stop. Quitting fast food means you are just replacing your calories with healthy alternatives. Your body is not protesting.

I switched to healthy eating about a year back and I never felt that I am depriving myself of anything because I just picked options that I like. So when I eat oatmeal in the morning, I actually enjoy eating it.

Having said that, I have no problems eating McDonalds or other junk foods once in a while. McDonalds just happens to be the safest option.

great mark ….congratulations …..for me 1 meal per week is ok… because we need germs and bacteria to enhance our immune system….and junk-good is great and delicious source nyahahahahah

in-n-out burger and Shacks is 50% considered junk-food.
once a week wont kill you like All other Junk though.
I have it weekly in USA πŸ˜‰

Are there any American-style cafes/restaurants in Kuwait that are NOT chains? Like independent cafes where they make all the food fresh and to order, not frozen patties and meals that are just heated to be exactly the same in every single chain.
