Looks like the local Ford dealership battle is over. According to a news article in the Arab Times,”Ford Motor Company has terminated its dealership agreement with Arabian Motors Group WLL for the Ford and Lincoln brands in Kuwait effective July 27.”
Alghanim Auto also recently opened their new Ford showroom in Shuwaikh although I have yet to pass by it. If anyone from Ford is reading this, I call shotgun on the Ford Focus RS test drive!

I passed by the AlGhanim Auto dealership, and its very nice and spaced out, with the majority of the cars being on display there.
hmmm might pass by today and check it out. honestly only two fords interest me, the Focus RS and the Raptor. Actually thats not true, there is also the Shelby GT350 and of course the Ford GT. Doubt they’ll bring any of these to Kuwait.
There was a local lawsuit against Alghanim, which Arabian motors won. Lawsuit prohibits sell/ importation of ford/ Lincoln by Alghanim.
So, it’s still unclear how they’re selling.
Well obviously things didn’t go well for Wazzan did it?
It was officially announced by Ford itself.
The salesman told me they have will provide the Shelby, and it’ll cost 29 grand (which is steep)
I was at Alghanim Auto over the weekend, they were selling and have a full line up in stock. There seems to be a lot of misinformation in the media, but things seemed just fine at the show room.
now regarding the service and warranty , do i got alghanim now ?
Yup, they’ll honor it
Good luck with the RS – I heard its not approved for sale in the Middle East (at least, that’s what the previous Ford dealer told me).
Hi Mark,
We’re glad you have shown interest in Ford vehicles. To answer your inquiries, the Focus RS is currently unavailable for our region, but we can surely let you know when that changes.
As for the Shelby GT350, the 2017 model will be in our showroom come October, and the all-new Raptor will follow around the end of Q1 2017. As you might know, the highly coveted GT is a limited-production vehicle.
Come see us in Shuwaikh Industrial Area across from SIRBB circuit and we’ll gladly talk everything Ford over a coffee.
See you soon!
-Ford Alghanim
Can I ask why Lincoln is not being sold? The new MKZ and Continental were on my radar!

my cousin owns a ford raptor and he still go to alwazzan service
its kinda confusing when you have 2 companies and both are open
for customers to buy new cars and service.
