For the gamers who are interested in picking up the new NES Classic Edition console, I just got back from Rehab Complex and nobody has it, not even for an exorbitant price. Most of the places I asked didn’t even know what I was talking about even after showing them a picture. One shop did tell me that they might be getting it this Thursday. I gave them my number and they’re going to call me up if they do. Will keep you posted.

It sold out in under 5 minutes on Amazon, and it crashed Gamestops site, and it was gone from pretty much all other websites within minutes.
Nintendo are going to be releasing a lot more in December, it’ll be much easier to get then.
be sure to get another controller they say the one it comes with is 2.5 feet long so you have to be glued to the tv.
I doubt I’ll have an issue since my tv is pretty close to my couch but will see. Worst case I’ll get the wireless controller or a controller extension cable.
Exorbitant, not exuberant.
Damn thanks, I tried googling it and couldn’t find it so thought it was in my head and the exuberant was the actual word
What’s REALLY exciting is the new Nintendo Switch coming out in March.
Nintendo is coming back in a big, big way.
If I’m gonna get this i’m just gonna put it on display. A mini SNES I would play though.
So glad Nintendo pulled their shit together and changed their whole marketing strategy, the Switch combination of handheld games with console ones would be amazing! and the NES classic being sold out only confirms that they’re indeed coming back harder than ever.
Not really. They have a habit of keeping supply real low to artificially drive up demand.
Just make your own out of a Raspberry Pi. Not difficult at all.

Emulators sucks ass and some retro games are even unplayable on emulators due to the speed differences, not to mention that there’s a huge aesthetic difference between a shitty Ras-PI (even with those NES-looking cheap covers) and an actual NES console. Not to mention that the NES classic has a fucking NES gamepad built in port, that alone is whats make it for me, but to each his own I suppose.
Received mine yesterday – though it wasn’t bought from kuwait
Some are going on eBay for thousands of dollars.
Sold out in the USA!
I wonder if they’ll import the Famicom which is only sold in Japan unfortunately…
they probably will but its not hard to get, they’re selling on amazon and ebay for around 45kd but the Famicon version is missing a lot of the great games like Castlevania II, Final Fantasy, Techmo Bowl and Punchout.
Castlevania: Symphony of the Night was so much fun.
How do you guys still enjoy retro games? I’m always like OMG memories, and the next minute how the hell did I play this crap?
So ummm…. did anything new happen? Did they give you a call?
No just realized they didnt
