I was in Phase II of the Avenues when I heard what sounded like a movie being played loudly in the middle of the mall. I followed the sound all the way up to the second floor near where Kenneth Cole is and found something called the XD Theater. Turns out for KD3 you can watch a short 3D movie that’s around 5 minutes long. It’s kinda like a small movie theater in the middle of the mall.

Guys this is a different kind of theatre. This one in 4D theatre where even the chair itself vibrates and smoke comes out. Deponds on the scane.
Yeah I saw it, seemed like an interesting concept but I gotta try it to judge.

Hi Mark, its not just watching a short movie, its actually a short movie and you feel all the effect sitting on your seat, the seat has over 400 movments which makes you actaully feel that you are in the movie….I have information on the company that you can contact to get more details, if you want too.
what a complete and utter rip off. even if what Shabzy says is true (moving seats etc) er 10 bucks for that? hell no!

guys, if you want 3Dmovie for less than 30mins, chairs that vibrates(kinda like swinging side-by-side), smokes, rain(water sprinkler) for less than 2KD… then go to al shaab park… 😀
Smoke+Water doesn’t add extra dimensions.
i remember these type of theaters , i tried like more than 10 years ago, its a total piece of crap and not even worth 1kd for 5mins

They have something similar in Entertainment City. It’s called 4D theater. The chairs vibrate and water spurts out etc.
If I am not mistaken, the cost is 1 KD for a 15-minute movie.

actually this stuff is already there in kuwait since long time…the 4D mini cinema in Entertainment city..but thats just 1KD and like 15min movie..
