Fasttelco Sucks as Usual

Yesterday while at work I couldn’t access any blogspot website. We have a fasttelco connection here but I thought it was probably just a fluke from our internal network. When I got home I realized K theKuwaiti also had trouble accessing blogspot. I don’t think blogspot is being blocked by fasttelco because if it was they would put up a URL Blocked page. Whatever the case is, I am currently accessing all the blogspot blogs using HideMyAss. Not practical but it gets the job done.

Update: It’s not blocked anymore

On Qualitynet, it redirects me to blogger.com! when accessing the blogspot. I checked this after I saw your yesterday’s post.

That sucks!

But I usually use HideMyAss to access alot of other stuff. Its wierd some the sites they block without knowing they dont have anything on them!

Our company connection is with Fastelco, but I will test it out later.. and see i can visit any blogspots!

But HideMyAss is pretty damn good.

fuck fasttelshit. even their internet cards suck. at least qnet has the decency to put a regular block page instead of the pretentious bullshit on the FT block page.

Yep, that’s me. I’m here for three months in an attempt to make some money. Someone is paying me to help them make some comic books (I did that for 13 years at Marvel). But the joke’s on me… I had no idea how expensive it is to live in Kuwait. Ouch.

you worked at Marvel?? thats fucking cool. which comics did you work on?

Kuwait isn’t usually very expensive to live in.. i think.. what do you find expensive?

Rent, taxis, restaurants… for starts. You don’t get a bargain when you’re looking for a furnished 3-month rental. Or when you have to either take taxis everywhere or rent a car. And things get complicated as I don’t have residency, just a business visa.

Marvel… everything over the years. Was there a long time. Mostly “indie” stuff like Akira and Moebius as editor, then colored books like X-Force and X-Men.

Wow, Mark speaks and the masses follow. I can’t believe how many people are checking out my blog because you put it on your links. And even more from the IKEA ad. It’s kind of freaking me out.

I work for FT for the past 5 years, and never heard such coments about FT. I also checked the web page that you were talking about and it was opening fast enough. I feel bad to know that some of our customers are feeling bad using our pre paid cards.
