…gun ownership in Kuwait amounts to 24.8 firearms per 100 people, and that there are approximately 630,000 civilian guns in the country… Kuwait’s defense forces possessed roughly 30,000 guns that year, while the police had only 8,358.
I was reading an article about a guy who killed a wolf in Kuwait and thought that bit of information on gun ownership was a bit shocking. The number is based on a 2007 count of civilian firearms published by Cambridge University press. I don’t know but that number seems a bit unreal to me. [Link]

We stay strapped like car seats.
That seems a bit high, I wonder what type of guns they’re counting?
We don’t have that much gun related crime for a country where theoretically every 4th person has a gun
Their probebly counting bb guns and (um sachmah) the one where its strong enough to shot down birds with,
But still the number is very unreal
The photo just makes m sick to my stomach. Horrible.
I think I saw a wolf today. It looked like a K9, but way nastier.
It looked thing and starving, it was going around sniffing and biting trash bags 🙁
Wolves in kuwait? I’ve seen desert fox. Two legged and four legged!
well it might be real.. coz i own 2 , my friend has 6 …and the ak47 that u can see in every beduin 3ers ..so it might be true
depends on what is defined as gun, if (um sachmah) is considered a gun then yes its pretty much popular :p
صج انك شجاع رجل والرجال قليل
gosh no one here fell for the bait 🙁
I think they are calculating the amount of weapons imported minus the amount exported plus the amount taken from the governments Armories during the invasion minus those recovered plus the amount estimated that was left and taken from the Iraqi forces minus those recovered . You probably have a couple of hundred thousand AK’s in Kuwait , the majority of which is with Kuwaiti Shia ( this is not a racist comment ) just something that they boast about frequently on twitter and in chat rooms.
Haha all us “Americi” who have a penchant for raging better be careful. Bow!
These numbers are accurate: https://www.gunpolicy.org/firearms/region/kuwait
And that’s about one third the rate in the U. S.
thanks for the link
