Due to all the criticism regarding the ticket pricing of the comedy club in my previous post, the club owners contacted me and told me they’ve decided to lower the prices down to the following:
KD10 for choice seats
KD20 for premium Seats
These prices also include a light snack for each attendee.

Wow. And he’s still going to be making a profit so that tells you how overpriced it was originally. Good decision on the owner’s part.
I really dont think set prices is the way to go. They should research other comedy clubs. Weekends are more expensive, weekdays are less. First day of the work week is like half off, etc…
Also, it should depend on who’s performing. They should maintain a range, but shouldnt be set.
If their rent is high, maybe Discovery Mall isnt the best place for a comedy club. People open in malls for high traffic, but kids arent coming to these shows are they? I’m guessing they will be booked for kids parties and kid party performers to use ther stage, which isnt a bad idea on off days.

if it was that easy for the owners to change their prices then it means they were going to make a killing by ripping off the people ….. and i will never support someone who’s trying to rip me off even after adjusting

Thanks for lowering, but it should be less. I will still try it out but I am sure that not that much people will still attend it since the price is still a bit high. Like Nouf said, if the rent is very expensive, than you should consider another place with cheaper rent.

I and the wife were blessed with the oppurtunity to see Russel Peter perform live in San Francisco and I nearly busted a couple of ribs laughing.. to me that was worth every cent of the dollars I spent on the tickets for me and my wife.Tell me that the guy who is going to do the opening night will come close to doing the same and then may be I may pay the 40 KD to take a look see 🙂

Thats so cool, I went with friends to check the site constructions and I meet the engineer who design it. It’s so amazing to have this theatre in Kuwait. I will go for sure. Inshallah
It’s going to be a great place. the designer is a Kuwaiti engineer who is specialized in interior design. Much time has been spent on designing the interior and all details had been considered , it should accommodate around 120-150 person easily.
