The Concours d’Elegance is now over but Brake Banzeen has taken the liberty to document the cars that took part in the event. His first post is on the classics that took part in the event and you can see them all [Here]

Now we are getting somewhere…… Concours d’Elegance is finally putting Kuwait on the map. Whereas, earlier talk of Kuwait, and the chatter would start and end with malls and super size burgers now there is flurry of non mall related activities: Run Kuwait and CAP being a case in point.
It’s unfortunate they have plugged the plug on the International Boat Show this year, though. I am plenty sure there was potential there of turning it into a Concours of sorts for super yachts; if only they tried super hard.
Dream big should be a motto for life: who knows Kuwait could even pull off a Jaipur; I mean the literary fest part not the palaces of the Maharajahs, of course.
A fantastic event. Professionally managed and well attended. Just shows they can do it if they try (& not a cupcake in sight!).
Which cars were the winners of the event?
I went there Saturday at 11am we were refused entry to the main area they could or would not give us a reason, which really sucked because we came all the way from Fahaheel to visit. Had I know that I would not have gone.
I am not sure about all cars, but following two from Pakistan won the prize as follows:
Rolls Royce Silver Ghost 1924 – First Prize Category A
Hup Mobile 1929 – Third Prize Category A
