Although I have recently lost a lot of weight I am now afraid I will be gaining it all again with my new chocolate bar craving. I am having atleast 6 chocolate bars a day and from what I am being told, its not helping my diet. So since I am attached to the habbit of eating chocolate bars I decided to get granola bars instead from Sultan Center and hopefully I am going to get attached to them. These bars are supposed to be healthy and won’t cause me to gain weight. I got the Apple Crisp flavor by Nature Valley but I haven’t tried it yet, I hope it tastes good, or at least decent..
Update: I just tried a bar and it tastes like wood. Actually I think wood tastes better. Need to try another brand like Kudos or something, they had a chocolate chip version.

What kind of diet are you on?
i don’t know :S
It might be healthy, and it might be natural, but read the amount of calories before you buy/eat.
Calorie count = best diet.
Yeah like Carlsb3rg says, these granola bars are full of calories and very high in carbs. They’re healthier than chocolate but not very good for someone dieting.
there are 90 calories in a bar…
By the way! Nothing beats a chocolate bar!
And try the chocolate chip granoular bar by Quaker! They are better bt have only 5 cal more..!
How about you switch to dark chocolate? It’s actually healthy, and has much less sugar, so less fattening!
And it tastes sooo much better.
Try Kellogg’s nutritional bars.
is that true? dark chocolate is less fattening then regular chocolate? i would think it was more fattening if anything..
Well, it seems to make sense to me that dark chocolate is less fattening, as I don’t believe the most fattening thing in chocolate is the cocoa, but the sugar and milk added to it.
And since dark chocolate is bitter, that’s a lot less sugar and milk.
I’m not saying it’s not fattening at all, but definitely less…:)
Oh and I’ve heard of recent studies suggesting moderate consumption of dark chocolate is actually beneficial for your health (for lowering blood pressure for example). Good news all around for this dark chocolate lover!
I agree with Sky.. as a matter of fact, having a bit of good quality dark chocolate once every while is healthy and recommended by doctors.
Just FYI, high quality chocolate should be very crunchy not chewy, shiny, aromatic and shouldn’t stick at the top of your month – it melts like magic.. GOD DAMN IT .. NOW I NEED SOME CHOCOLATE!
Mark try being different kind of healthy ones, give em a try, then form a small group of ones in which you like so far.
then go to sultan and buy the packages :p
Try Alpen cereal bars.. they are incredible.. i cannot stop raving about these bars.. believe you me.. they’re stupendous.. trust me.. look for them in your supermarket..
Man, I survive on those Nature Valley bars!
Sigh, it’s only because I’m back to being a student again and don’t have the time to cook =(
