For those of you who didn’t believe me or think no way a place called Eggslut would be allowed to open in Kuwait, well, I was right. The hoarding for the first Eggslut store in Kuwait just went up in Crystal Tower, they’re opening right next to Starbucks.
Eggslut is an LA-based gourmet food concept where all the items on their menu feature eggs.

Kuwait’s backward system doesn’t allow foreigners to fully own companies. This is likely a franchise.
I thought thats changed a while back now at least for SME.
Kuwait’s “backward system” wants to make sure Kuwaitis have a chance at owning successful businesses and make a living instead of monopolizing and letting other countries at getting a chance to take advantage of Kuwait’s market.
Kuwaits “backwards system” allows a single person to be a franchisee which is the reason why only a few families are rich and everything costs shit loads. You think big firms care? I can tell you now H&M, bmw and any other foreign brand wouldn’t care enough about Kuwait to go through the process of opening their own store, it would be franchised. Removing the system would allow more people the chance to own businesses and this would be cheaper as well as better quality and greater variety. Get off your high horse and smell the shit we are all in due to this crappy system put down by the elite families that brainwashed the hell out of you through “nationalism”. I mean wtf even is nationalism, nationalism is the cause of every war in humanity, it’s just plain wrong and should have died with capital punishment.
That’s not true. A few years back the parliament passed a law allowing multiple people to have the same franchise. The problem is that the companies have and want one company to be responsible. So someone can go to Toyota and say I want to open up a dealership because they have a good relationship with the current dealer for many years.
Umm what? Either you dont know what a monopoly is, or you are turning a blind eye to the Retail and F&B brands operating in this country (hint: Buy 1 Get 1 Yellow Weekend?). Or the vape market? Or the conveniently allocated car dealerships?
Although strictly speaking, oligopoly is a better word for the economy here.
