Who wants to bet, as i described in the last post, that there will still be a bunch of family, with above average ( for kuwait) critical thinking skills, that will be stranded in said rain, that Mark already said it will rain worse tonight.

this is a new road. who ever designed it didn’t think of irrigation at all.
The same thing happened last year in Mangaf, the highway flooded and they didn’t do anything to fix it.
The roads in Fahaheel were dry but the top layer is gone and only rubble and sand that pelt your car is left. The beach in front of the old Al Kout has been washed away with the huge boulders being moved all around.
It’s littered with garbage, the side walk has collapsed and they were trying to remove 5 cars that were stuck in the knee deep water in the parking lot.
The owner of my apt was caught in Subahiya in waist deep water, someone helped him out, got his car towed which is said to cost 500 KD to fix. The elevator of the house was flooded which came into my apt so now we take the stairs and there’s still more to come……
They should keep it. Great monument to reflect the epic failure of Kuwait’s infrastructure.

They should continue and fill it up all the way to downtown. Put boats, and you have a form of public transportation.
