Last night at the local MMA event GFC 4 a huge fight broke out. The fight started after supporters of a GFC fighter stormed the cage after he got knocked out. The fight initiated in various small cells around the arena but then turned into one large street brawl. According to previous UFC fighter Ray Elbe who was at the arena last night, he’s never seen anything like this ever before and he’s been involved with MMA for over a decade now. You can check out Rays post on this event on his blog [Here]

Hmm,well this is one way to get rid of boredom in Kuwait.
animals. they cant do anything right. i just don’t understand the way they think. there must always be a douche bag that spoils it for the rest.
+1
There is a big difference between being a fighter and being a martial artist.
Every GFC event has had issues with security, and with so many women and children attending the event, the situation got scary quick for many.
Seeing MMA growing in every country in the Middle East is encouraging, however it is important that fighter safety, proper event security, and overall professionalism is displayed by all involved in order for the sport to grow.
I completely understand where you’re coming from Ray, and I agree 100%. But sadly, a lot of people in Kuwait have this type of weird rage in them, and all they want to do is cause trouble. Really stupid people TBH.
Heres one with a better view https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7La_vVMnO7s&feature=youtu.be
thanks!
Compare this event with Crossfit event that was taking place at marina mall.
We are and will continue to be a very violent and angry nations, regardless of you religious background Arabs or nonarab people in the Midlle East are just savage. The blam doesn’t fall entirely on us but the violent and current history of coloniasm and the alleged war on terror is one of the biggest reasons. The support of the west of dictatorship and chaos in this region is also a big reason.
We r not that different than our fellow humans it’s just we are lost and injured, so we turn on each other rather than face our true problems.
This is nonsense.
Lol what
Are you in Politics ??
wtf did I just read?
Much confuse, very huh
this was an extra special event for those lucky to have attended and witness it
ROYAL RUMBLE GFC ! ;p
ولكم ملينااااا مريضييين
Stupid people. What a waste of time.
Barbed wires on top of the octagon ring should fix this kind of reaction from the crowd. lol
it will not stop them from fighting amongst each other
uncultured.
I was at the last one and the same thing happened.
The main problem is that the security that they have is not professional. Its just muscle friends of the organisers.
The whole time whenever somebody won or lost, his “fans” would rush the cage and climb in and run around like they just won the world cup.
Its sad to say but some people in Kuwait enjoy ruining events and plan on getting into fights.
The even has a strong amateur feel to it, both the fighters and the venue/organisation. I hope they can continue to grow and get security under control.
Wow an event that involves 2 men hitting each other had fans that also wanted to hit each other, this comes as a complete surprise
My comment is deleted 😮 Why??? i dont think i wrote anythig wrong!!!
Needs more security…
GFC Royal Rumble in the making… lol
what happened shows that we are not ready to have martial art around specially after seeing guys in fighting gears punching each others… just imagine such idiots losing control in public hitting defenseless people. in MMA tournament we see submission moves ends with a yield, in real life it ends with snapped bones, joints or death!
Epic fail and another black eye for Kuwait
