Hezbollah the root of all evil

From a Lebanese to the world: Hezbollah are terrorists financed by Syria and Iran and the Lebanese government is to pussy to do anything about them. They were warned a million times to take care of the Hezbollah issue but no one in the government had the balls to call them out. Well now the Lebanese people are going to pay for the mistakes of the government. Its summer, its tourist season and because of Hezbollah, Israel has practically declared war on Lebanon. Today morning at 6AM Israel blew up two runways at the Beirut International Airport. This is not going to effect the Lebanese politicians sitting in their million dollar mansions, its going to effect the poor Lebanese people who make up the majority of Lebanon.

With these current attacks you would think the government would wake up and realize that its time to distance themselves from Hezbollah and let the whole world know that the Lebanese people are against Hezbollah and against their actions. But, of course that didn’t happen, the Lebanese government is calling all parties to be united against Israel. What a load of political crap, they are going to make things a lot worst for everyone. Fucking idiots.

I suggest you whine about the leaders of your country than point the finger

Months of doing absolutely nothing
This is what happens
Deal with it like men…look at yourselves

Well the airport is closed and she was supposed to come back in 3 days time. they hit 2 of the 4 runways so i am not sure if they will open the other 2 in 3 days time.

I called Nat up now, she was sleeping, she didn’t know the airport got bombed.

sa3den, don’t worry, I can multitask, I can whine about how our leaders didn’t disarm Hezbollah, AND I can point the finger at Hezbollah blaming them for the recent attacks against Lebanon.

ummm…. isn’t Mark doing just that sa3dan, or am I misunderstanding something?

Mark Hezbollah maybe terrorists but Israel take a piece from lebanon and deserve that, Israel is evil and want everything.

and btw watch the tv, nearly all lebanese are happy and support Hezbollah and won’t obey Israel.

Dude stop watching Manar TV (which is hezbollah owned) or a Syrian back station and tune in to Future or LBC and tell me that all the Lebanese people are happy and support Hezbollah. You seriously fucking think the Lebanese people are supporting Hezbollah, come on you must be fucking joking.

If you see 5 people on tv celebrating Hezbollahs capture of the israeilis dont assume these 5 people represent Lebanon.

Man i fully share your rage, hezbolla is a load of crap. They have caused mayhem to our country. But i think this is not the time to punish them. At least not when we are bombed.
After that is over, the reckoning will come.

This is bad! I dont know why they didnt pull away from Hezeballah. I was calling left and right looking for family in the morning even there mobiles were off! I was calling like crazy! God damn Hezeballah!

Currently the only polticial party in Lebanon left with weapons and an army is Hezbollah. Hezbollahs army is stronger then the Lebanese one. So you can see why everyone was too chicken shit to say anything.

I am guessing here but I think the lebanese government is going to sit back and watch Israel weaken Hezbollah since Israel would be doing all the work for them..

The Isreal governments plan was to turn the Lebanese people against Hezbollah, which was working at first. However by not waiting and continuing attacks, it turned around and united the people, by changing the conflict from Isreal vs. Hezbollah, to Isreal vs. Lebanon. Which is why the people are now supporting Hezbollah. If Isreal had waited, I think the majority of people would have been angry at Hezbollah instead.

Israel doesnt need a plan to turn the Lebanese people against Hezbolla. The lebanese people are already against Hezbollah. Whats up with you peopl don’t you read the news? 2/3 of the Parliment are against Hezbollah and want Hezbollah to disarm. The lebanese people want Hezbollah to disarm. Israel doesnt need a plan to rally people against Hezbollah.

in the process of weakining hezboallah, israel will also destroy lebanon where Israel’s chief of staff, Lt. Gen. Dan Halutz, told Israel’s Channel 10, “If the soldiers are not returned, we will turn Lebanon’s clock back 20 years.”

lol if israel had waited? waited for what? a video of its soldiers being beheaded?
umm yeah that would make things sooo much better.

i agree with mark, its within the lebanese govt’s interests to sit back for now, the israelis will cripple hizbollah, and hopefully atleast send them running to mum an dad in syria and iran.

after 50 years of proxy wars during the cold war, 60 years of conflict all over the mideast, and i think 10 year civil war in lebanon, i’m shocked at the fact that so many people still want to subject a third party such as lebanon to justify their own political bollocks.

isnt it time to wake up and remove the cancer that is hizbollah and islamic jihad?

you guys kicked the syrians out, and after seeing that i’m sure you lot cant get rid of these morons as well.

lebanons got a really bright future, dont let your kids inherit these cancerous tumours.

That’s exactly what I’m saying Mark. However with the way things are going now, attitueds may be changing is what I’m getting at.

Pearls, Israel is holding Lebanon accountable for Hezbollahs actions because Lebanon hasn’t taken ANY steps at all in trying to disarm Hezbollah. Israel took this lack of action as a message that Lebanon backs Hezbollah and so is now punishing Lebanon for it.

Mark dude, you are right on two counts – a) that the Leb Govt is waiting for Israel to clean up Hezbollah (since it’s in the best interest of the entire world), and b) Lebanese ppl are not terror-mongers, and the last thing they want on their land is a terrorist outfit.
I just hope that Israel sees to the elimination of the outfit, and proceeds no further.

during the war you could take a ferry to Cyprus and then fly out from there. or land in cyprus and take a ferry to lebanon..

anyway i hope things cool down there wa tirja3 il myah illa majareeha. my prayers are with all the lebanese people and hope Nat comes back safely. in the meanwhile hung in there mark.

Dude seriously fuck Hezb Allah … i mean they are making things worst for all of us .. wont they just screw themselves get out of the country and allow us to stand back on our two feets …

The attitude here in Jbeil, in my university is that Isreal aren’t going to be in Lebanon for long. Not too many students think this is so serious. But everyone dislikes (more like hates) Hezbollah AND Israel

i’m sorry but they are not !!! they are protecting them selves, they didn’t start the fight!!! common!

why are you blaming huzballah !! isreal started the whole thing not lebanon!!!!!!!!!!!!!

when all of you are finished slapping each other on the back and being self-congratulatory, take a moment to objectively note the history of hizbollah in lebanon and especially the liberation of southern lebanon. the comments in this forum are obviously very sectarian and/or based on misinformation. hizbollah is not sacrosanct, but they certainly are not the “root of all evil”.

Hezbollah is a fuk’n puppet controlled by Iran and Syria fuk them all and Israel too.

…..LONG LIVE LEBANON…..

Mark has the guts to tell it like it is. I tip my hat to him.

This has been an ongoing political dilemma for years and Hizbollah were warned consecutively to lay off.

As long as Lebanon hosts “external” forces who fire into Israel from Lebanese territory, this tragedy will, unfortunately, continue.

And yes Long Live a free Lebanon.

This Blog Subject reflects the attitude of the Lebanese amongst each other, I disagree of the actions of hezbolla, nevertheless this is a lebanese fraction made up of lebanese, i fthey are puppets of syria what about our current president and all the member of the lebanese cabinet implicated in the assassination of PM Rafic Hariri. Lebanon will never unite irrespective of your comments. Hizbollah is as lebanese as any of us, some key people from Hezbolla are even Maronite for your info. Overall and as a country we should accept the consequences of our actions, and as highlighted previously if it was not for Hizbolla, Israel would still be in south Lebanon together with the wonderful South Lebanese Army. You can hate the guts of Hizbollah, however for all of you Lebanese on thhis Blog, which one of you takes credit for the libaration of the South…

Judy, how can you say Hizbullah didn’t start this? They snatched the two soldiers didn’t they? If they Hizbullah had kept to themselves, Israel wouldn’t have invaded Lebanon. I used to think that Hizbullah were at least a little intelligent, but now I just think they’re stupid.

Hellraiser, Hezbolla didnt liberate the south. Israel pulled out on its own. Hezbolla did do some military actions but nothing to force israel to pull out.

palestinianphilosopher

Once again you try to stand out in the crowd by making a obscene and irresponsible remark. Do no think that you are voicing a unique opinion because you are clever and different. You are a stupid little canadian wannabe teenage whore with nowhere to go. If you cant say something responsible and respectful on someone elses website in accordance to the political situation HIS country is facing, than please stfu and go somewhere else.

Hezballah got rid of the Israeli occupation in Lebanon, something that the government couldn’t even do,

so i do not think hezbollah is the “root of all evil”. Political Zionism is.

clearly, the owner/host of this site is entitled to speak his mind as he has accumulated enough goodwill with his readers that dissent by passer-byers such as myself and others is attacked; having said that, when blatantly skewed and intentionally misleading statements are asserted (e.g. “israel pulled out of southern lebanon on its own”), this reader can only advise others not to put too much stock in the uninformed discussion taking place here.

Elie the problem isnt with my statements. Its with naive people (like you) who believe that a party like Hezbollah is stronger then Israel.

If Israel wanted to continue to stay in Lebanon they would still be in Lebanon now. Hezbollah wasn’t their reason for leaving. What did Hezbollah do that was so bad and powerful to “force” them to leave?

If Hezbollah is as powerful as you make them to be, then Israel wouldn’t have invaded Lebanon now and if anything Hezbollah would have invaded Israel.

So don’t come in here pushing your lies and trying to make Hezbollah look like a hero.

You know what pisses me off the fuk’n “military analyst” that Al-Jazeera and Al-Arabiya interviews, they claim that Hezbollah can defeat and stop the Israeli attack ….BULLSHIT ITS LIKE THEY’RE THE LEBANESE WHO IS PAYING THE PRICE!!!!!

Mark I will not start a political debate, we know the power of israel, however if there was zero resistance from the side of leb, yes they would have stayed, the death toll inflicted on the israelis through commando strikes, was not supported by the israeli public opinion. nevertheless its not up to me or you to define the impact of the resistance. For Historical puposes during WWII the resistance in any of the invaded countries inflicted casualties and demoralised the opposition. Again I am not defending Hizbollah here, their actions were undiniably weakly calculated with a clear impact on our economy and growth, however I am a strong believer in the resistance movement and for fighting for what is right, which is the current case. My concerns are that this conflict could have a wider set of implications and ramification to include Syria and Iran.

First off,Mark, I sincerely hope Nat gets back safe and sound, and that your respective families and friends in Lebanon are safe too.
I’m a non arab, nonmuslim who has spent the better part of my life in this country.I’ve been to Lebanon and I think its one of the most beautiful places I’ve been too with very beautiful people. So its sad to see Lebanese disagree about whats good for their country despite 20 years of civil war.I, personally, dont think anyone over 18 years doesnt have personal reminders of what violence, intolerance and manipulation by other countries have done in their lives. So its sad to see a small minority of people still determining the fate of a country. As an outsider,I totally agree with Israel.Abducting 2 israeli soldiers is an act of aggression. If the Lebanese Govt. did nothing to prevent or remedy that act,Israel has a right to protect its citizens. As an outsider with access to viewpoints not limited to Israel, western or Arab media,Hezbollah is and will be regarded as a terrorist organization.Anyone who has read even the slightest bit of unbiased history will know that Israel voluntarily left south Lebanon.I mean they won the seven day war!Hezbollah is a piece of cake! However the fact remains that the fate of Hezbollah does not rest with Israel but the Lebanese.

We(arabs)won the war in 1973
Saddam invades kuwait to liberate Palestine.
Hizballah liberates the south of Lebanon
This part of the lies we are lead to believe that WE as arabs did in our fight against isreal.
Mark be strong and hope Nat and family are safe and back ……. God bless Lebanon

People you have to realize that Hezballah gets its weapons from Syria and Iran, and they have no where close to the man power or military capability to force Israel to do anything! That is why this is happening! they didnt force them out of the south, and Hezballah had a face to face conflict with a Israeli army then they wouldnt be a problem right now, because they would be non-existant!

U are wrong as fuck, unfortunately. Why aren’t U mad at Israel.

U’r hatred of Hizbolla is just so intense that you are totally blind to the true root of all evil. i$rafuckenyel.

Quit wasting your energy on this issues which obviously you are too biased to read and analyse correctly.

Hope your wife and fam will be OK.

It just doesn’t make sense that Israel would just up and leave lebanon, when we all know that they are licking their chops over owning Syria, Palestine and Lebanon, and would if they could.

As far as I’m concerned, the only group who did -anything- against Israelis were the Hizballah, while the Leb gov’t, as you said, did nothing.

oh no… politics in here as well 🙁
Hezboallah probably r mean, but i always thought that if you treat humans as animals for a long time, don’t expect them to be civilized… they will be animals.

i don’t know why i still post here when everybody totally ignored me when i was wondering about buying an i-mate for my brother… hmph well this is the last time… grrr

why does there have to be only one enemy?
israel and hizbullah are a threat to lebanon. if hizbullah didnt wake up the lion last night then we wouldnt even be having this discussion. also, israel is over reacting… but hell maybe this is the only way we will learn our lesson. i really hope that hizbullah gets wiped out ….

how much do the lebanese people have to handle?

Seriously sometimes I think what people like Hizbollah are thinking! Or do they even think!? Cats don’t go picking up fights with lions. Ya3ni they seriously believe they’re gonna with this war!? Idiots! And the thing that pisses me off the most is that the people are paying the price of their idiotic actions! Morons!

Lebanon and the lebanese are the scapegoats in this filthy game! If only our leaders would be less greedy and stand up for the people and do something right for once in theirs lives! The whole situation nauseating!! alah ya7fith lebanon and the people. all i can do is pray for the ppl coz obviously we can talk and express our opinions but it seems that our leaders have muted us and decided to just keep doing there thing.

Hezbollah denies that they bombed Haifa, Hhhhhmmmmm…….I think its Syria lol.
and now who will pay for all of the damages?????

you people will just talk talk talk now like you did during all of the previous super events, such as, Hariri’s death, Amman- Cairo- Beirut bombings, all Palestinian issues, war on Iraq…etc… and then we’ll be back to discussing tara reids sneakers and new macbooks in no time… so just lump it as we all will ultimately…

I agree that Hizbollah is obviously a shitty, shitty organization, however what I think isn’t being emphasized is the disdain for Isreal as well. As Arabs with Arab nations (be it Lebanon, Palestine, Egypt, Kuwait, and so on)best interest in mind, people should be more united at dealing with Isreal, then focusing on Hizbollah and such organizations.

I feel bad for israel having to deal with these dumbfucks all the time. They are so powerful but show a lot of restraint considering what they are capable of.

Hopefully they’ll get pissed off enough soon to just nuke and pave big chunks of the middle east so the rest of us can live in peace.

Nasrallah publicly threatened on tv in his first press conference any Lebanese factions/parties/people from doing anything that might “make the enemy stronger or make us weaker” – He also spoke in the name of Lebanon. It therefore means that he somehow believes that he is running Lebanon.
The problem now is how are the other parties going to deal with Hezbollah.
Whether or not Hezbollah were behind the Israeli withdrawal or whether or not they are the root of all evil…they are an armed group in a country that had one of history’s most vicious civil wars and a significant power in a country that borders with Israel – the most powerful country in the middle east.
Now they have two Israeli soldiers – the Israelis have many Lebanese prisoners (regardless of who they are affiliated to)
Shouldnt there be a swap without bombing airports and other civilian institutions?

indeed,
you cant solve violence with violence, you’ll just create more violence.

Swapping prisoners?Did the Israeli’s cross the border into Lebanon and kidnap people to hold as prisoners? Hezbollah went into another country, killed 3 soldiers, who were doing their job of patrolling the borders, and kidnap two others,to hold for ransom. In which country is that right, morally and legally? The problem for Israel is that if they let the Lebanese, palestinian, etc prisoners go,tommorrow these same prisoners will be back with bombs strapped to themselves killing more Israeli’s.I wonder what the Hezbollah would have done if two of their’s was kidnapped and held for ransom. While Israel seems to be overreacting,it still does not justify swapping prisoners. Why cant the hezbollah just release the soldiers?Don’t they care about lebanon and its people?Would they have done this without understanding the repercussions?I personally think the hezbollah didnt anticipate this reaction from Israel. While bombing airports and other facilities is a bit too much,Israel can only be pushed so far.

Anon
😀
Did the Israeli’s cross the border into Lebanon? Yes they did! Dont forget the Israeli withdrawal still gave them a rather large area of LEGITIMATE Lebanese land to patrol.
Hezbollah has screwed up in terms of reaction caused as a result of the kidnap…but who in their sane mind would have guessed that to kidnap 3 soldiers an entire country would be bombed?!?
Israel can only be pushed too far? You’re right…there is only so much that an illegal state which is responsible for the genocide of Palestinians AND Lebanese and responsible for taking billions of $’s of aid from the USA yearly without giving anything back AND having nuclear power can take…
we should really be nice to Israel:D Especially now as THEY HAVE FUCKING BOMBED THE FUCKING SHIT OUT OF LEBANON

Why the fuck can’t the muslims in the middle east just accept the fact that millions of jews live in israel now and are not going anywhere? Many of the original settlers of Israel obviously came from Europe, but they also came from other middle eastern cities (Baghdad, Istanbul, Damascus, Tehran) that fostered intolerance of Jews. Those Jews got displaced as well from intolerant Muslims that essentially made living in those communities increasingly untenable. I know the Palestinians and Lebanese have been wronged, but so have so many other groups in the region, including Kurds, Jews, and Christians. While I’m sure the average Muslim is like the average Christian or average Jew or average Hindu, there is clearly something uniquely out of control today with the Islamic religion. Until Islam and its leaders decide it wants to come to terms with with modern ideas of accepting other people’s religions and beliefs and living side-by-side with them, the world-wide violence is not ending any time soon. The Israeli/Lebanese situation is just a microcosm, and this violence is now spreading to the greater middle east, Asia (India), Europe (France, Holland), and America.

Islamic fundamentalism is now the greatest threat to peaceful existance, and unfortunately will be for at least the next 20 years. This shit in Iraq, Israel, Lebanon is just the beginning.

Gentlemen, i respect your opinions, yet i have a quite different one.

i think we are being selfish, just because we want to have fun in lebanon and go clubbing, it doesnt mean that we dont give a damn about our hostages, please imagine your relatives are there. i was reading about someone above really worried about a girl named nat, imagine nat was a hostage.

i agree that the action hesbollah took was fast and uncalculated, yet it gave the hostages and their relatives hope.

lastly, hesbollah, in my opinion will start the spark of the third world war. syria and iran will join forces, and wage war against israel.

i also believe that israel will triumph, the war will last 7 years…..

only then will the lebanese be happy forever, without foreign interference, and without hesbollah being 40% of the lebanese population.

have a nice day…

it’s too easy to blame israel for everything!!, but lets not forget that raghead fundamentalists are also attacking countries that have absolutely nothing to do with europe, america, or israel!!, (murdering christians and enforcing sharia law in nigeria for example).
I’m totally convinced that islamic fanatics will start world war 3, if they haven’t already!!

Gentlemen, you might think i have some sort of craze regarding prophecies…but i really suggest you read the following prophecies, if not for belief only for interest would do….

i beg that you do not take this matter lightly.

search the net, download documentaries …search everywhere for them and you will find them …

They are the following…

mother shipton.

nostradamus ( claimed a person from the middle east will start the third war wearing a blue turbine around his head….i have a picture of hezbollah leader wearing a black and blue turbine)

edgar Kacey ( dont know how you spell the family name)

Read the mayan calendar…

the new discovery of the pyramids calendar..

last but not least your holy books…

I kindly want to add one more paragraph from the book of revelations, with respect to all other religions ofcourse….

When the Jews Return to Zion
And a Comet Rips the Sky
And the Holy Roman Empire Rises
Then You and I Must Die

From the Eternal sea He Rises
Waging Armies On Either Shore
Turning Man Against His brother
Till Man Exists No More…..
