He was here. He couched Qadsiya and the national team too. That was bak when we brought great managers.
he probably has fond memories of that time in Kuwait, bet he’ll get a shock of how things changed.
That is so true. Just like Carlos Alberto Parreira, who took Kuwait to Asian Cup victory in 1980, and took them to the World Cup in 1982.
Parreira lead Brazil to World Cup glory in 1994.
Yeah, i remember him too. Those were the glory days.
Just realized he has a Kuwait connection. I thought he simply mentioned it in passing as a joke.

Kuwait
He then had a two year stint in charge of Kuwaiti side Al Qadisiya Kuwait, with whom he won the prestigious Kuwait Emir Cup in 1989. This was followed by a brief stint as manager of the Kuwait national team, winning the 10th Gulf Cup in Kuwait. He returned to Brazil after Saddam Hussein invaded Kuwait during the Gulf War

He returned to Kuwait after the invasion too.
So if you want to win a World Cup, first coach Kuwait.
I met Mr. Scolari early nineties in Qadsiya club Hawally he truly loves Kuwait and we love him to.
