Moskovskaya

moskovskaya

I think everyone in the Dubai Duty Free figured I lived in Kuwait because I was walking around taking pictures of the bottles of alcohol. Moskovskaya is my favorite brand of vodka. Its the only one I can drink straight up without mixing it with anything.

no offense to ur taste man, but that is the cheapest kind of vodka. clubs and pubs in lebanon served it cos it was the cheapest. Plus it makes u sick the next day and u get the worst hangover. The best kinds are smirnoff and absolut, they taste amazing and no hangover.

Fonzy… I hate to break this to you, but Absolut is widely known to be a triumph of marketing and branding over quality. And the Premium Smirnoff (Blue, Silver) are better than the regular red.

Stoli and Moskovskaya are better quality. If the ones being served in Beirut make you sick I suggest you investigate their origin.

Finally, Grey Goose, Belvedere, Finlandia… the best!

Dude… maybe you can do the Jedi mind trick when you get back on the customs ppl and pass a few bottles …. “These arent bottles of alcohol. They are t-shirts….. Ok you may pass”

zaydoun. marketing or not, absolute does taste amazing esp the vanilla, orange, and mostly peach flavors. As for smirnoff, I prefer red, havent tried blue and silver. Stoli is amazing, i give u that.

Mark. i disagree.

Well, it has been a SIGNIFICANT time since any post. I have both Skye and Absolut in the liquor cabinet, but I am drinking Moskovaya. This is perfectly good everyday vodka especially at the US price at around $8 a bottle

Grey Goose is horrible.
Friends and I did a blind taste test of 6 vodkas, and Stoli won by a far margin. Smirnoff was a close second, and got kudos for its reasonable price. The only one that Grey Goose did not beat was Everclear diluted with distilled water to 80 proof.

Moskovskaya is a great vodka. It wasn’t part of the test, but is my favorite brand all things considered, including price.

Moskovskaya wins hands down. It is much smoother than Stolichnaya, which has a sharp finish on the palate. The fact that Moskovskaya is cheaper than inferior brands such as Smirnoff or Absolut is just a bonus and not a commentary on quality.
