I got my kite from the Abdullah Al Salem museum gift shop. The kite show I posted is by the Al Farsi kite team. They hold the record for the worlds largest kite and their kites are all super huge. Don’t think they’ll have an issue with you flying your kite but u don’t need their event to fly a kite, you can do that anytime 🙂

There’s an event on Saturday called “Rainy City painting experience at LivUp” from 1 pm to 4 pm. It’s an art/painting event including live music performances.

This event is by “Art N Dine” they do so many events like this all over Kuwait especially at the scenic/beautiful locations that have nice views.

The Kite Show was such a shit show! Barely any variety and when we got there by 3.15 or so, they had blocked off the parking entrance. No proper alternate parking nearby and not much to do in that venue, we just left the place. What a massive waste of time. Was better not to conduct this event. I feel bad for missing the Kites show at Bnaider last week, coz I’m guessing that would have been much bigger and better!

Parking was blocked off due to organizing the setup for Saturday’s NBK running event.

I enjoyed seeing the kites, met people clelebrating UAE National Day (including a GCC Ambassador dressed in colorful attire), walking along Shuwaikh Beach, and watching kids play football in the basketball court areas..
