These kind of people are here all the time. I used to shoot public service announcements with them on base and create posters and flyers with them talking about issues pertinent to the military member on base. They usually come here to hit up Arifjan, Buehring and Ali Al Saleem then go to Afghanistan and head home. They come through the USO and MWR. We had tons of MMA fighters, American Gladiators, Five Finger Death Punch, Hip Kitty, the cast of Spartacus, Taking Back Sunday, Kristanna loken, Kelly Hu and a bunch more. They tend to stay at the Hilton.
Which Spartacus was it? Andy Whitfield or the guy they replaced him with?
For some reason I always assumed they stay entirely on base, although now that you bring it up it’s obvious they would stay at a hotel. I remember seeing famous looking faces and thinking “Nah that can’t be them”
The best one was probably when the whole cast of Star Trek came for a early premier of the first remake! After that for me is a close tie for 2nd of Oscar de la Hoya and Scarlet Johansson.
