Arabian Business published a list of “100 Most Powerful Arabs Under 40” and Kuwait made the list four times. In fact, the second most powerful Arab on the list is Kuwait’s Bader Al Kharafi who holds several high-profile roles including being a board member of Gulf Bank, a board member of Foulath Holding (Bahrain Steel), chairman and managing director of Gulf Cables & Electrical Industries and vice chairman of Zain Group. The other Kuwaitis on the list were Ahmed Shihab-Eldin (#58), Ghosson Al Khaled (#69) and Mishaery Al Afasy (#87). Check out the full list [Here]

I knew Ahmed would make the list. Upstanding guy. A little ignorant on a few things, but who isn’t?
Just to be clear, I’m still a huge fan of the guy. We’ve been talking on and off about politics for the past four years. It was just his take on the then-recent South Sudan secession that really, really irked me. A few of my closest friends are ‘Lost Boys’ i.e. South Sudanese refugees who migrated to the States when they were children and they found what he had to say about the situation really offensive and terribly biased.
#1 on the list looks like someone you wouldn’t wanna mess with.
Is it just me or Mr. Bader Al-Kharafi looks a little bit like Mr. Majed Al-Sabah?
yeah, he does resemble him
Retarded list here’s why.
#12 Mariam Al Mansouri?
Apparently you can be the “MOST POWERFUL ARAB” under 40 by being flying an army jet and having a vagina.
Joke list, joke media.
Either two of these are correct or both I don’t know.
1. Arabs have no powerful people, if at #12 the best you can come up with is a female pilot. The Most Powerful? I had to read this title at least 10 times and wash my eyes out in acid before believing this.
2. I couldn’t find anyone in the list with any noticeable power really.
The “real” most powerful Arab people are politicians and the clergy.
The majority of the listed people are unknown and irrelevant for most of the 350 million Arabs.
just because they are unknown doesn’t mean they are not powerful.
most of those CEO’s hold one of the biggest arab companies in the ME. those “irrelevant” youths control the lives of those 350 million arabs! and have an influence on the media and the government…
unlike بو سروال وفنيله who all he does is complain and spend his time in diwaniya, with no real ambitions and goals whatsoever…
I thought Amal Clooney would have made this list.
oh! she did!
Gimme Money
The cute Saudi couple are both on the list <3 Loujain & Fahad.
