Kuwait’s Directorate General of Civil Aviation (DGCA) is now coordinating with popular drone manufacturer DJI in outlining no fly zones around Kuwait. DJI drones have a safety feature that would stop drones from accidentally entering no fly zones and their map now includes different locations around Kuwait. The no fly zones around Kuwait are mostly military zones, oil fields and VVIP locations. You can check out the map of no fly zones by clicking [Here]

What about the other drone manufacturers?
ah gosh , this means almost all Bayan area is restricted, including where I live !
What is also interesting is how some of these areas like Kuwait Towers are restricted and we continually see instagram footage of people flying and recording there. Perhaps this has just taken effect and thus, starts to work from now on.
Overall I think this is a great advancement since it will prevent unwanted accidents which usually lead to Total banning of the hobby (like how this happened several times before).
Its simple – don’t use a DJI drone 🙂
Does this mean you can still use drones outside of these areas?
The strange thing is that power plants and refineries are not marked as no fly areas :S
+1
By the looks of this. It seems the whole of Kuwait is a no fly zone for Drones.
