We have donated money/supplies to K Path probably a year ago (as a local private company), we still didnt notice any changes from the donations as promised earlier. New scam?
Stop ripping people off 🙂
Hi MAK,
I would love to hear more about the donation issue you are referring to so I can try to get it fixed.
Thank you!
By supplies, I mean heavy duty equipments and other related items.
K’s path is not a scam. I used to go there most weekends with some friends a couple years ago to volunteer and I’ve donated towards the cause as well after getting to know some of the staff that really care for the animals, though obviously I wasn’t able to get to know all of them. I had a friend too who volunteered a lot there until she had to leave Kuwait and it is pretty legit. I understand your side as a donor though when you don’t really see the changes you expect or are promised, but sometimes you gotta know the other side of stuff as well…sometimes, some things take time to happen and sometimes there are also unexpected circumstances that come up which may lead to a delay or a hindrance to that which was supposed to be done. I’ve been on both sides of a cause…being donated to as well as donating towards another cause and most times things aren’t as easy as we’d like to think. But yeah in your case, that is heavy duty equipment so it must be pretty expensive and if i were donating something like that and its been that long, i’d wonder as well about the progress of its being put to some use. But again, every time I’ve wondered about something like that, I just go directly and ask whoever is responsible casually about what happened, i’ve done it before and what i realized was a genuine cause will always be able to or willing to be truthful about what’s going on. You just got to find the right person to ask that question to though and you may be surprised 🙂 However if a cause is being shady about what really happened to your donation and is not willing to answer then that’s a lesson learned to donate elsewhere next time, haha. But yeah, you could just ask them 🙂
