I have seen worst! There seems to be no control over ‘shababs’ who seek attention through graffiti and misbehavior. I have been to buses that experienced
(1) window glasses broken as ‘teenagers’ threw hard objects as we pass by Al Rihab in Tunis Street, they all fled and ‘proud’ of their mischief
(2) teenagers harassing Asians and South Asian, provoking them by touching ear lobes, parts of the head and then the group kept shouting and provoking the victim who displayed maximum tolerance. The driver ignoring everything
(3) teenagers (ARABS may I add) getting into a Citybus and constantly opening the emergency buttons and the exit doors flip open
(4) teenagers playing loud and irritating music
Something must be done…at least letting them pay could regulate. Empower drivers to bring juveniles to the nearest police station.
I am a student and agree with the points you have mentioned but the people also need to have courage and face them instead of tolerating these….
This is a serious social issue that must not be ignored. Best for local authorities to put up rules. I understand why the drivers or other passengers chose to ignore than confront, sometimes, the law has no teeth or if it has, it is poorly executed. How I wish I was a martial arts expert and will have the courage to confront them, even through violent means just to get the point across.
And where are the parents??? The first to deny and the last to know.
I agree with u 110% and was of the view that this issue much be elevated on government level..I have witnessed a Bangladeshi man brutally beaten up by these boys , as he resisted to get back…
My solution is that a police offical or guard having law rights must accompany the Driver
2) surveillance cams should be installed immediately in all busses
There is no need for police official or guard… the only requirement is police to take action when the drivers bring those teens to police station without setting free them saying that they are “BACHA”..
i have witnessed the above
So you think that they will happily go with the driver to police station 🙂
NO they won’t go happily but The Driver will take them HAPPILY, but the problem is they no that it is of no use, just waste to time..
why do we complain about teens, i have seen even elders (above 40, 50+) who don’t pay for the ticket and tell the driver to just drive and the bus is ours
i used to do some of these stuff as a kid lol but to a lesser extent eg not rocks we used to water bottles. it was damn fun so u cant blame the kids, u can blame the people who arent enforcing the laws or proposing new ones or raising awareness.
The bus drivers who cannot take out their anger on these Arab kids since they would get beaten, show their grudge tuition student like us !
I swear !
Perhaps Kuwait should do like India is doing. Put plain clothes police on random buses and arrest trouble makers.

Arab boys are like a pack of wolves… the ones aged 10 to 13 being the most dangerous, as I see it. When a group of these kids (around 12 to 14 of them) take to our lanes, people cross the road in fear. Cars halt to let them pass. At times, they just stand in the middle of the road, pushing each other, kicking, laughing, throwing sticks and pebbles on each other. The cars just wait and wait.
What exactly are their parents doing?
I hate those retards, so dangerous they are , I am a peacefull person and they come and they racially abuse me ,curse me and disrespect me.
@Markus, oh so you’ve taken the bus at Saadiq roundabout in Hawally too? 🙂
Uhm.. If there was a pun over there, sorry I dint get it.I normally take a 999
Markus; there was no pun. What I meant was getting abused, screamed at and having cigarette butts thrown at you is common if you take the bus at that stop in Hawally coz I’ve personally experienced it too.
I take buses every now and then when I have to go for tuitions or for an outing with friends and belive me all of them are like that, there is nothing that scares me more than seeing them in they’re uhm.. wolfpack formation approach a bus stand , Thankfully I am done with schooling and tuitions and going to university
I’ve spotted those kids a couple of weeks ago in Salmiya.. speechless..
Youth in Kuwait is spoiled and they are the future of this country, OMG what a future we should expect. I ust run away before this happens.
Police! They do nothing but watch their mobiles and smoke while accidents and this kind of things happen in Q8.
A guard was beaten to death years ago by a group of arab young thieves in The Avenues that had been caught taking things. No one dares to say a word.
Sorry for my hard comments but it is terrible to see what this country is becoming.
if you dont like it……you know where the airport is, if you dont, try the border. Cross-over to saudi arabia or iraq. Try getting your tan there honey. 😀
Ahh yes, another case of shababs behaving like huge kababs. Listen we’re bored as fuck, super sexually repressed, what do you expect?. And in this pic, u guys are generalizing, what if they went on top to do a few repairs. Your welcome

Mark, not all kids can afford to do this;

Some have to make do with public transport.
I’ve literally never taken a public bus in Kuwait
Good for you!
