The blog was down this morning due to some technical issues. Basically the blog was infected with a malware and I had to restore the blog to an older backup from last week. Currently going through everything to see what information/comments the blog lost and trying to restore things to normal. Please bear with me.
Update: Everything is back to normal, no posts or comments were lost.

Yup, x.x! Good luck
https://www.pingdom.com/ use this they are useful to know if the site is down when u are out of the house or not home checking the site.
I have a monitor running on the server to let me know when the blog goes down. So I get an email as soon as that happens but the hard part is bringing it back up.
Mark, use Cloudfare. Pro pack is $20 only and they will protect your server from injections. They have global CDN network and they even have servers in Kuwait. You don’t have to change anything on your server, it will make your site 30-40% faster for visitors from Kuwait and will reduce your traffic by ~90%. If you need any help about server configuration or Cloudfare email me (for free of course 🙂 )
And don’t worry about it, even alexa.com get hacked today 😀 It’s down for few hours already.
I tried cloud flare before and it effected the performance of the blog instead of improving it.
It’s strange. In my case it increase page load speed by ~40% from Kuwait (server is located in London).
Well I already have a super cache running on my server and I already compress my images properly myself so there really isn’t much cloud flare could do for me I guess.
Like wise on my side
affected.
