Some Survey Results

Firstly thank you to everyone who filled out the survey. I was originally hoping to get around 200 to 300 responses but instead I got 1,000 before I shut it down since I hit my account limit. I saved all the results as a PDF (total of 50 pages of small print) and have copied them over to my iPad so I could go through them. I’ve already got a ton of ideas in my head for the blog and I have a feeling 2011 is going to be a very busy year for me. Anyway below are some results of the survey I thought you might be interested in seeing.

Wow in terms of nationality, I didn’t expect “others” to be that big.

Also I hope the results of the question “Should other people post on 2:48 AM” has my choice as the majority. In my opinion I think its best if its just you and Nat who post here Mark.

yea the worst could happen is adding another writer, that would make the blog have less identity and lost it feeling.

Wo! You seem to have a large Indian audience!
Maybe you should start posting bollywood videos – hehe. No offense meant to anyone 🙂

Nice results. I don’t think this blog would lose its touch if other bloggers joined in, Since Fahid started blogging from time to time, it made it even more interesting. I would suggest “guest blogger” instead, basically have a guest writer post a unique topic on occasions.

Actually that turned out good along with my credibilty. I guess my hardwork this year in trying to be transparent and changing that perception helped. I think other blogs also helped me be more credible by them becoming less credible. Overall a positive result for 2010.

Totally agree 🙂 I believe you have the best ‘Kuwaiti’ blog so far.

loool 🙂
What I understand is that you are no longer the only one being paid to write positive reviews.

But I still enjoy reading your blog.

Q80: I have never been paid to write a positive review. Never ever and you can take my word on that. Think about it this way, how much do you think a paid review would cost and do you think I actually would take the risk of damaging my credibility (which is all I have) for that amount?

Come on, we have one of the finest bureaucracies in the world.
How long does it take to get your papers stamped? Months? Years?
Inefficiency on this scale isn’t easy….
