Just to keep you guys in the loop, I’m currently working on a major facelift for the blog. Visually it shouldn’t differ too drastically from the current look, the biggest change is that the new design will be 2 columns instead of 3. This will allow me to post larger photos in my posts and visually make the blog look a lot cleaner and simpler. The biggest changes though will be behind the scene. The current theme code is extremely outdated and so I’m pretty limited with what I can do to the blog. For example, I want to add like buttons or upvote buttons to the comments like how it is on Reddit, but I can’t do that right now with the current theme.
For mobile users, you’ll be pleased to hear that with the new update there will be a mobile friendly version of the website. That should make browsing and commenting from your phone a lot easier.
If there is anything specific you think I should add or do with this upcoming facelift let me know. I can’t promise I’ll actually implement them but I would be curious to hear your thoughts.

Make the “More from 248AM” column collapsible, if that’s possible, or maybe put it on a self-scrolling animation (Idk how to put to words, but I hope you understand what I mean)
when i remove the midle column i might move the more from 248am to the right column under the banners. I am going to change the shape of the banners so they’re squares, that way they take up less room and so i can fit stuff under them.
RSS feed? point me to it if there is one already. i don’t mind if the feed has nothing except the title (to not cut your advertising revenue).
i do like the color scheme, but may i suggest a toggle for a dark theme? just interchanging the black and white should be enough.
Also, the blogs mailing list doesn’t work for me.
I’ve had an RSS feed since day 1, just add mark248am1.wpenginepowered.com to feedly or your rss reader

My bad, bruh. I’ve got no less than a billion e-mail accounts 1 for Xbox, 1 for my blog, 1 for online orders, etc… Plus, the people that contact me on my blog e-mail are always trying to get me to sponsor weird stuff (furniture, shoes made in china, random ish) lol so I don’t check it as frequently.

it looks better indeed but i find letters with no “edges” easier to read
I’m glad your giving the blog a facelift! I would really love to see an easier way to view multiple pictures of a post. It is very frustrating right now when I have to manually click next and the whole window goes away for a quick second. Would you be able to do something carousel style where it darkens the background so your photo pops? also being able to use arrow keys to scroll through the pictures of that post would be helpful
