Three new blog features

With the new redesign of the site I’ve also added three new minor features.

Print option
Say for one reason or another you want to print a post, there is now a little print icon at the end of every post (after you click on the post) which will take you to a printer friendly version of the article. You then have the option to print the post either with or without the user comments.

Email option
Again for one reason or another you want to share a post with someone you can now email it to them. There is a little email icon next to the print icon at the end of every plost (again after you click on the post).

Page navigation
At the bottom of the main page there is now a more advanced page navigation system. Before it was just “Previous” and “Next” now its a bit more than that. My favorite part is the “Last” button which will take you to my first posts on this blog.

Dude, why dont you post stuff like you used to – about the problems and issues in Kuwait?

Sorry man, but your blog has become soul-less in comparison to the old days.

Mark, just bring back the old soul to your blog. Bring back the complaining, the social problems, the controversy.

That’s what made me a reader in the first place! You once posted ‘the new me’…..well, can’t you bring back ‘the old you’ – that dude had the fire in his belly…..

It’s evolution Karim AK. I like this blog because it tells us what’s in Mark’s mind (or shopping basket, or stomach) on any given day, much of which is interesting and useful to his readers. I’ve been reading it for a couple of years (?) and I don’t think it’s changed in style, just the technology has improved!

hey cool additions…might want to add more kuwait-related controversial issues in there,, you’re putting up alot of youtube videos, kind of reminding me of the post about blogger types. (you’re becoming the “youtube” kind of dude).
good work though ๐Ÿ˜€

this thread’s been dead a while so not sure if you’ll see this:
make you links to external sites open in a new page. since most of us use tabbed browsing now, it’ll let the site open in a new tab and let the user continue to read your blog. The browser i use allows drag and drop links, so i’m always opening new tabs. makes things so much easier, and allows u to multitask!
